    I understand preaching pro Africa. But let’s not mislead people because we know how impulsive we can be as human beings. Africa is a great place to build BUT you NEED a solid foundation or else it will be no different from the life you are living abroad. You need to come with a plan and a solid foundation (family, friends, maintenance money, good job) etc. many things are more expensive in Africa don’t let people lie to you and convince you that things are cheap. Don’t let the parties and beach videos in December deceive you. Africa is a great place when you come with a plan or a solid foundation behind you. Plan the move before you make the move.

    • @feudevorant2628
      @feudevorant2628 3 ปีที่แล้ว +21

      Exactly, plus the way they portray the moving back to Africa as thought they did on the first day they got into Diaspora, they obviously worked and saved then decided to go back. I am not against going back but it has to be planned like you have very well put it in your comment. People should not go back empty handed because people are advertising their business which are made to look nice on camera. One other thing i have noticed, those who say they have gone back to Africa, they still hold the Nationalities acquired in the Diaspora and this is for one reason only, to easily go back to the diaspora if things don't go to plan. Why go back to a terrible place as they describe it? You know what there is a saying in my language that never leave poo where you are coming because one day you may need to go back.

Now they are having a nightmare experience and complain about how bad they feel living there.

  • @eazy007gh

    After 20years in the UK.... I'll tell anyone to at least VISIT.... but dnt STAY. Visiting; you aren't locked down with bills and chained to your clock and endless recycling of your life! And before you realise, you are 15 years + in a system that treats you like 2nd class human, struggles to attain citizenship, marriage woes, no savings and most worryingly, your mates in Ghana are living pure organic lives!
    So my free advice is make your travels short and sweet!

    These videos make me so emotional, for so many years I have dreamed of a collective consciousness amongst Africans in the diaspora, and on the continent that supports Africans moving home, or least seeing Africa as home, and for the beautiful blessing that is! ( Sadly like the Rev. many Africans abroad still view Africa as uninhabitable.) But today that is all changing thanks to your dedication and commitment. Our identity, mental health and self worth is tied into our acceptance and love for Africa. Without knowledge and connection to your cultural heritage , you will remain lost, wandering and labouring in societies, and cultures that will never fully embrace you as their equals! We are the true custodians of Africa and all it's resources, it is time we reclaim our land, and leave a beautiful legacy for our children. More blessings to you Woda Maya. Ashe

      But the only time, they want us is when we pay taxes and so on because it makes their country richer or when they need people to do the jobs no one wants to do such as cleaning jobs, then that's when they'll call on the blacks or asains especially if they're an immigrant.

      Life in Europe is much better than in Africa unless if you come from upper middle class. Where are you going to find free education, free healthcare and free housing in Africa? Corruption in Europe is almost non existent, libraries are everywhere . Africans generally struggle to adapt to western culture that's why they find life in Europe hard. Hardly they go back to school, they open businesses and they don't read much.

      Yes I agree, as much as I love Africa, its not entirely true what she is saying. I eat as healthy as possible, I dont eat burgers and fast food. I left the UK only due to the stress of commuting up and down leaving early hours of the morning and coming back late at night with two jobs. I wanted some peace in my life and to slow things down, but I would always go back if I had to. I never disliked the UK, any bad choices were my bad choices, it just means I did not plan well or educate myself properly on something. Like anywhere if you have money its a nice life, if you don't its hard.
