2:15 Theres now a vividness slider along with circle to search on the new August security update on the Galaxy A55. I pull the vivdness slider all the way to the right and now its as vivid as how older amoled samsung phones used to be 🎉
Just ordered one. Just hoping the ram management is better than my a52s cause the rest is great. The backup system on a52s phone is crazy good. Keeps old versions and sideloaded apps if you happen to clean or change the phone. Hoping for the battery improvement on a55.
I've had it since the first week of April and I have loved it ever since!! My previous phone was the s21 fe, I had to sell it cause I needed more storage and battery and let me tell at first I was really apprehensive about switching. But after having it for a few days I was presently shocked when the performance, battery and materials were wayyy better than the s21 fe.. the only thing that really made me miss the s21 fe is the camera. Other than that this phone is a beast !!!!
Price per value it's a good phone no doubt about it. I got the s24 plus because I wanted the AI and I wanted the better cameras but this phone's definitely a good deal.
@@adebayotimilehin2460 but like another comment said no decks so that's also a reason but hey those are great phones I just missing a few things that maybe worth to you or may not be at all depends on what you find valuable but hey
Fun fact for display: its max auto brightness is better then the s24 line up and up close with the ip 15 pro max, which is crazy, i saw someone measure that. Overall im really enjoying a55, been using it for 3-4 months but it was otherwise last year when i had a54 for a brief time then i sold it. Exynos on a54 was really bad, heat constantly and battery drain was crazy, and a bit laggy performance. A55 does not have any of those problems, plus that alu frame is amazing and sturdy
Steve, I really want your opinion. I have a 14 Pro Max, and I’m thinking about getting two A55s with the value of the iPhone, as I plan to give one to my partner. In your opinion, is this a big downgrade, especially in terms of performance and cameras (I use it for vlogs)? I liked the A55 a lot, but of course, I’m concerned about making this switch and potentially feeling a loss, or facing issues after 2/3 years. Your response will help me a lot, as I need some guidance to know if I’m making a mistake or a smart purchase. Thank you 🙏🇧🇷
I mean, it's going to be a video downgrade for sure, the iPhone 14 Pro Max was one of the best on any platform for video, so if you're a vlogger, it's rough.
If you're main priority is day to day use, taking photos, good battery life then it's a great choice. It has enough power to run any game but unlike the flagship processors it won't give you the highest performance. But if your casual gamer then it's more than enough. It's a balanced phone. Great display, great build quality, IP67, really good camera, with a good professor. It's not like one of those phones which has a really good processor but poor build quality or really poor camera etc. It's a balanced package.
Hi Steve, just found your channel and love the great content. I'm considering the A55 among others and I would value your (and others) opinion if it's worth paying more for the alternatives below. Prices in GBP £ New 1. A55 128gb £220 2. Thinkphone 256gb. £270 3. S23 fe (Exynos) 256gb £254 4. S23 256gb £344 5. S24 256gb £423 I value Camera and battery most. They will all be powerful enough for my needs. I would prefer the S23/24 due to size. However, I need all day battery life & don't want to waste money unnecessarily. Your thoughts, sir? 🤔
There is something strange on the screen of this phone. The color tone changes depending on the viewing angle. Especially in white color. It looks yellow when you look straight at it, and white when you look at it from above. It looks like IPS LCD screens.
I think they are different phones. Not software or performance wise (even though the A55 is noticeably smoother), the A55 is a much larger display and premium feel than the A54.
Nah. This is much better to hold. I have an S24+ and I was able to compare A55 side-by-side. The hardware you touch is almost like flagship. If I didn't know about the phones, I would be mistaken from outside appearance. It's really well-built.
Still one of the best phones you can get for the money!
How does the battery life compare to the cmf 1?

bought it 1 day ago but battery drains so fast is that normal or not i bought vetnam verson pls help me
I have the A35 and stylus 2024. Both have been working great for me,
Absolutely agree.
Picked up a 8/256 model for $325 out the door and it's been great.
Where is the phone made in, India or Vietnam?
@@pubsdias8065 Vietnam
Are the speakers better than the a53
Can it do the app opening closing spamming like s24?
for making it a FE 24 they have to give it considerable better cams. the FEs always have near flagship cams, those cams an the A55 wouldnt do.
Galaxy A.I came to a55
Samsung said vividness slider is coming August / Sept
As a person who used natural mode, vividness doesn't matter to me.
Lot of talk to say the screen is not as good as before Steve 😅😅😅😅
Oneplus nord 4 is the best for the price
Bought it 2 months ago
This device is proper 👌

in my country (romania) you can get it for 300 8gb ram 128 storage or 350 for 8gb ram 256 storage. great phone

And it's not a huge upgrade, but enjoy
it's a midrange, it will lag over time. put it side by side with a flagship you will notice

You can just buy two used but in very good condition Galaxy S23 plus phones and get flagship specs. I am finding them around $300 ish now.

A new phone will come up, then 10 days later "is this phone still worth int in 2024"
Except this is four months and the landscape is always changing, but sure, go off.

The a55 is 18 in global ranking of display quality . It's great irl
Try a privacy screen if u don't want to see those shifts I colors😂. Most of the oled screens do that
