That age gap wasn't actually an age gap because that movie wasn't romantic. The girl had another partner and Shah Rukh Khan was more of a teacher (therapist actually) from which she learns a lot.
But you can say srk fell in love with alia in the movie because he told her this chair makes that sound when you like someone and you can't do anything about it , and in last scene you can clearely see that when he sat on that chair it made that sound which means he liked her and mabe fell in love with her.
And most importantly alia(kaira) confessed her love to him
And there is no problem in age gap , I really want to see srk and alia in a romantic film they had great chemistry in DZ

It is very well known that people fall in love with their therapist. They never had a relationship. In addition, the age difference is mentioned from the beginning and not pretended to be young. Srk has said regarding the chair, if you like someone.
Dear Zindagi wasn't a romantic movie. SRK was her therapist.
Basically, he plays the role of philanthropist who guides the younger generation and this movie is dedicated to the evolving mind-set of the upcoming generation...this is again an experiment of SRK.....he said once that now I've turned into my fifties where you don't expect to play the role of chocolaty boy anymore...but having that reputation and fanbase, instead I would rather love to swim across the variance of story-telling....Love you Jaby and Achara for all the precious memories of happiness that you gave us for the past 4 years and we hope you keep on spreading smiles

Ronnie Jacob, Aamir, Salman hit stardom earlier than SRK but for two decades, they were crushed by him. Since the 2010s, SRK dropped off and Salman, Aamir took over thanks to good movies plus SRK's terrible movies. It's the law of averages kicking in I suppose.
Needless to say, he was on top for 20 years before that. So it's fine that he came down.

But honestly, right from the beginning of their careers, SRK has been the most consistent superstar. Even a half decent film like Chennai Express turned into an all time grosser until Dhoom 3 came about..
Romance as a genre is dead in India, and no matter who is in it, people will not tune in to watch. I just hope SRK takes up a strong social subject with his next film and has a good story/screenplay to go with and automatically he will start re-delivering the blockbusters.

You guys have the best analysis ! That's what separates you from rest of the reaction channels. SRK has done variety of roles. he is mostly loved but there is a good number of people who type cast him as a romantic hero. But he is one of the most experimental STAR's. He is also hated in India by some just because he is a Muslim actor. It's sad but true. I have always loved SRK and he still is my absolute favourite. ❤️❤️❤️
Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan have never worked in a movie together though they made a cameo in the movie Pehla Nasha(1993) and they shared the screen together for a few seconds.

@@shivajinaikmaharashtrajayh1705 He is the most versatile actor, if you've watched movies from darr, anjaam, baazigar, to ddlj, mohabbatein, dtph, or even movies like veer zaara, swades, chak de india, and mnik. It shows the different roles that he has done. Also he is probably the one actor who expresses a lot through his emotions and eyes. Ive taken theater, so i understand the craft and art of acting. And the nuances that srk performs through his characters, that just shows how talented of an actor he is. When he says underutilized, most directors dont get to bring his talent out, because all they know is SRK the king, not the actor, and so that's when the direction and writing goes wrong. But if a talented director such as yash chopra came to him, he can do any role.

SRK was more experimental in his early days, back in the early '90s, playing negative roles in movies like Baazigar, Darr and Anjaam. It's a shame SRK doesn't do roles like that anymore, but mainly sticks to romantic roles.

Srk rani, srk kajol, srk preity zinta, srk kareena, srk mahima, srk juhi, srk priyanka, srk deepika, srk anushka, even alia bhatt gave her best in dear zindagi, etc etc every actress give their best with srk. Preity best performance is with srk, so does kajol, juhi, priyanka, anushka ,deepika, rani, kareena.
In all, there were not many romantic songs ...
But this does not prevent the idea of the movie being different from the song ...
Every movie has a great story that does not resemble another movie ... I hope that you watch clips from the films so that you do not judge his films as they are similar
