The Kubert School TV feature (2004)

When I was a producer for NBC NY, I arranged to visit the Kubert School (then the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art) and produce a piece on the school and its legendary founder. What a thrill to walk through the halls, lined with many of Joe Kubert's classic DC covers, to see how the school operated, and then talk with Joe himself. One of the true greats of comics, and one of its finest gentlemen.

i wanted top go to this school soooo bad but my parents said no. decades later still bummed about it lol.

Notice that everything was done by hand. Today it's all done with computers. Hand drawn comics are the best and Joe was way ahead of his time.
