Very helpful video. I am actually looking for yeti coolers, still finding a best option to buy. After watching your video, get a little bit clarity of what should I buy. Thanks.
In my opinion, this is fantastic for the beach loaded with drinks. I can see some difficulty with sausages or meat trays leaking on the way out. Other than that it’s fantastic. What do you use yours for?
I typically use mine for drinks only. I have very strong opinions regarding mixing drinks with food just so I don’t have to fumble around one to get to the other. However, if I was to do that I would make sure any food is in a sealed container or bring another cooler just for food.
I’ve got a video posting in a few weeks that’s shows the capacity of the M12. It does hold 20 cans by themselves. It’s my guess it will hold a 12 pack with ice. I’ve also purchased yeti ice blocks that I sit in the bottom. I’ve got an M20 as well. With the ice blocks in the bottom of that I believe I got about 18 in there. Regardless of which one you get be sure to pre cool the cooler approx 24 hrs in advance. Thanks for your comment!
There was a while back but are now back in stores. There was an issue with the magnets. If I’m not mistaken they were exposed and could possibly fall out. I think small children and pets were swallowing them. Yeti has since fixed the issue so the magnets are secure.

Thank you for your video…
I’m in the market for a yeti bag and still haven’t made my decision between the M12 or the M20
I actually have both!!! I do find myself using the M20 more often since we’re a family of 4. I use the M12 if it’s just me and the wife.
Could this replace a cool box for a camping trip? Deciding between this or a traditional cool box
Thanks for reaching out! I’m not familiar with a cool box but I’m now sooo curious!

I can now tell you that with two of the thin yeti ice blocks the M20 holds 26 cans
@@thenicgatesshow Nice. Might just go with the m20, helps that they are on sale! Thanks!
Im on the same boat, undecided on which size to get between m12 or m20. Which one do you guys recommend?
Wasn’t there a recall on these?
