Great video and you make valid points. I would add that GP Replicas screwed up the BBS wheels pretty badly on this model. The Minichamps version has much better wheels in terms of the distinctive BBS spokes. Agree with you about the driver figure and proportion in relation to cockpit. Also think the nose is too wide and should be squared of around the edges more. The Goodyear markings on the sidewalls are again wrong, sitting at an incorrect angle. They are getting better (slowly) and this is much better than their awful early 1994 season version, but they still need to employ proper enthusiasts able to spot fundamental mistakes
All good points. Agree Minichamps do wheels and tires better than anyone. These wheels still need improvement. I want the early version as my Minichamps has aged but it is not good for sure. It is odd that GP really struggles with the "modern" say 1990 and above models more than the older models. Not sure why it is. Your right it has been a slow evolution and they are headed in the right direction. Thank you for watching and your input. Happy Collecting!
Your third viewer for this model....lucky me. WOW #4, the lowest number run I've ever seen even among my collection. Good looking model on a rich looking base.
Hahaha! Yes quite low. I have had some DG models that were custom 1 of 1, but for sure my lowest luck of the draw model. I generally wait for a sale so not sure that will happen again. I do like this one but still hope the do a driver version of the T1 to replace my old crusty Minichamps version.
Thank you. I like this one a lot. Very different from the 412T1. Yes they only do “historical” or “older” models. That said time is always moving so they have already made announcements for Ferrari F1 up to 2001 maybe even 2002? Maybe a few years but I suspect they will do all the Schumacher championship cars and I would guess they will make most of the F1 champs but probably lag 20 years behind current. There is still a good amount of McLaren’s, Williams, Benetton, Lotus from the 80’s /early90’s that could be made. Thanks for watching and for your question.
True had not thought about that… just find it odd that BBR or Look Smart use it to wrap the base and cover, but GP just “supplies” it. Thanks for watching and commenting

Referring to great seasons Ferrari had between 1979 and 1997: I think they probably had the best car in 1982. If Gilles Villeneuve hadn't had his fatal accident he would have probably won the world championship. The team was really unlucky that year.
Very true…there were a few good seasons in there…1982 was pre my interest in F1, 1985 is probably my first memory of exposure to F1 via my father. Yes in 82 they really could have won. 1990 was probably another lost Constructor and maybe even the Drivers title. But good point 82 was a tragic year that should have been different.
I probably should do one again. Problem is I have run out of space so a lot of what I have been making videos about this year goes back in a box until I can sit down and think out the display and what needs to come out to make room for the new purchases. Still have some new stuff to shoot but thank you for the suggestion it definitely helps to know what people want to see. Cheers

I always hope that I will get the 1st or the last...never do. Just keep collecting.
Really good looking model! Do GP Replicas only issue older models?

Will you do another full collection video but not go as fast showing all the models? You've bought a lot of models since your last one!

The car is Italian
