If you're ever worried whether eggs are gone off, fill a basin or deep bowl with water and put the egg in it, if it comes to the top and floats it's gone off😊❤
I'm with you on the salad bars, buffet breakfast type of thing and food being off/contaminated!! It is really stressful!! I also get worried about fresh foods and how it's been stored previous to buying it, how long it wasn't in the fridge for getting it home, whether I've cooked it thoroughly enough. Also the rotisserie chicken 🤦🏻♀️ Just so many neuroses🤦🏻♀️
Hi Hannah, as someone who works in the food industry. Products use by dates will always have a day or two's grace but obviously eat by the use by date. I'm the same i'm a super nervous with food, I still ring my Mum checking if I can eat something even though I have a degree and work in the industry. Also, maybe buy yourself a meat thermometer? It's great for things like chicken to check it's cooked so you don't need to worry!! :) Also was wetting myself at the prank, your Nan is such a good sport! Fab video as always x

not sure if this will put your mind at ease when it comes to eating eggs :) i have many many chickens and eggs can last for ages! if not put in the fridge they can last up to 5/6 weeks with no issues at all, if very worried and wanting to eat say scrambled eggs, crack into a bowl and check each egg first before adding to the pan and cooking, this is what i do if i make eggs. absolutely love your videos btw!! you have helped me so much with food ❤️
