Alright, so uh This is the start of a cool lil' thing because I like doing Timestamps *and* story recaps like what I'm doing with QD, so I'm combining them into one 🔥 So this is Part 1 (Part 2 chronologically because I can't do Prelude until V3 releases) Story: During the events of Prelude, Homer is watching TV on the couch after returning from Bart and Lisa's school. Marge hears a noise coming from the basement and asks Homer to check the cause. Homer enters the basement, expecting perhaps a faulty mechanism. However, he is confronted by and old friend. The robot, Bender, originating from the show 'Futurama' has reached Springfields thanks to The Darkness. Homer attempts to fend him off, prompting Marge to check the commotion. Homer insists that Marge should lock the door, bidding her farewell. He instructs her to escape with Maggie and find Bart and Lisa. After convincing Marge to leave him, Homer holds Bender (now accompanied by Fry) off long enough for Marge to escape. Homer is gradually affected by the two, succumbing to The Darkness as yet another one of it's victims. One down. This revamp is so simple. But it sounds more emotional which is great. The original wasso robotic ironically lol. It was very mid imho.I like how it is Fry and Bender that get Homer corrupted it is a funny yet tragic concept so it works well. This is such a great revamp by Wishmute. Definitely not my favorite but it still sounds great. This song is under Blasphemy for me.

I didn't bring this up last time but the fact that Homer stayed behind and tried to save his family is so in character for Homer. And it is sad that it was for nothing since Homer corrupts Marge and Maggie in Drive By. This is such a great beginning song to the Subplots. Hard Techno with emotion works here. Homer is actually in character in this mod and he is willing to do anything for his kids even Sacrifice his life for them unlike some other father in Quahog

This revamp is so simple. But it sounds more emotional which is great. The original wasso robotic ironically lol. It was very mid imho.I like how it is Fry and Bender that get Homer corrupted it is a funny yet tragic concept so it works well. This is such a great revamp by Wishmute. Definitely not my favorite but it still sounds great.

I didn't bring this up last time but the fact that Homer stayed behind and tried to save his family is so in character for Homer. And it is sad that it was for nothing since Homer corrupts Marge and Maggie in Drive By. This is such a great beginning song to the Subplots. Hard Techno with emotion works here.
