- hi friends! Welcome back to another Hermes episode 😂 I visited my SA recently & picked up something from my Hermes wishlist. However, in this video I also wanted to talk through my Hermes purchases and the categories I think are good pre-spend options. Hermes has many categories which you can shop from in order to build your Hermes pre-spend, but in my opinion some of those are a bit out of my reach, I wanted to share the Hermes pieces I have added and wether I think they were good purchases over all. When i finally get off of ban Island, I will be heading to a store to make a wish (here we go again...) and when in the store, I hope to get a belt and a pair of sandals - can't decide between oran flats or the wedge. However, i will be going to a department store where Hermes has a concession, rather than an actual boutique so I'm not sure what the choice will be like. But I will try. If they happen to have a constance 18, Epsom leather to offer me then that would be simply fabulous ❤😂

I agree so much with you May. I am the same. I like to add pieces that I just love and will use. I am waiting for my B30 that my SA asked me to give her color options for. I’m debating the b25 instead but so conflicted. I like both. I buy pieces like sandals, boots, shawls, belt and a bit of makeup so far. Those are the things I like and use so that is what I will continue to buy. I never asked my SA for a quota bag. Just talked about bags and colors I love. And she told me to let her know what color B I’d like so she can look for me. So I don’t think you need to go crazy with purchases. It is a business, so if their policy is to give quota bags to customers who buy H products that makes sense. But being kind, personable and sincere goes a long way in getting an offer I think. I am considering some simple rose gold jewelry as well as it’s such a pretty color.
I think that is the best way to go about it. Your SA can tell when you are being genuine about the pieces you are purchasing. I love their rode gold jewelry. I think the Rose gold is subtle but so pretty. I was also super conflicted at first btw the 25 & 30, but I felt the 30 would just be too large for me and the use I was going to give it. I think the 25 is such a great day to night size also 🥰 Sending you all the best in getting an offer for the piece you really want! ❤️
I spent over $30,000 at Hermes, but I did it for the items themselves as H doesn’t make any bag that I remotely like. Having said that, I want to get a new Calvi, and the options never pop up. They trained us well to beg for things, but if I can’t get it in the next few months, I’m banning the brand. They’re not really exclusive but pretentious.

That nail polish is the perfect Fall shade, love it! It looks super chic and classy. The Legend sandals are on my wishlist but I'm not sure what color to get (first) same as you, I love the oasis and they are extremely comfy IMO. The Calvi wallet is so practical and very useful plus it fits everywhere., I want it in orange and also a shade of green.

How much pre-spend is needed before being offered a bag? Does it depend on the store location or SA?
Unfortunately there is not a set number, many say its a 1 to 1 ratio, meaning at least spend what the price of the bag is. But I think it varies depending on store due to supply & demand 🤷🏼♀️

I have quite a few Hermes belts and 3 of the kelly belt. I love the way they look and elevate an outfit. Though, I experience the kelly belt expanding as I wear it. I often need to go into the bathroom and adjust it. Have you experienced this? It’s not a big deal , just annoying lol.

Hola May ,estoy muy de acuerdo en cuanto a comprar lo que uno realmente le gusta y disfrutar el proceso .Mi wishlist está como la tuya ,interminable hahaha .De mis departamentos favoritos ( aparte de leather department) está el de zapatos y me encantan los twillys y scarves .Amo las tazas ,pero bueno yo colecciono tazas así que no puedo dejar pasar las de Hermes para mi colección 🤭
