Interesting. The other version of packaging was useful as a deck box/storage. This looks like same amount of material but not as reusable. Strange change.
They probably changed it because they were the same design as the build and battle kits.
Crown zenith booster bundles have the same design box, very slim, easier for storage while sealed I guess
maybe less easy to steal
I’d think it’d be easier since you just have to do it upside down and unsheathe it. The other one you had to lift the flap and they wouldn’t easily fall out due to the top flap blocking their path. There’s nothing protecting this one.
The older variant hung as well but it was harder to get multiple of them on the rack because of their thickness; so if anything, they changed it for the hanging real estate it opens up.
Which, I guarantee most of them will just be sitting in a display or just on the shelf, lmao.
Aside from that? These would stack more nicely and uniform in a purse/diaper bag, something similar.
@@CDBIIIthey released these alongside the old design as a way for stores to display whichever version is convenient for them (so small stores would buy in the old design, but bigger stores will want these new ones because they stand out more)
My mom always told me to stop pulling it in public. She didnt say I cant do it at home though. Cant wait to get me some booster bundles.

The new packaging looks better, easier to shelf, but the the other was more like a deck box and could be used to store extra cards easily..
I agree. The box does look better and having the option to hang them helps, but the size of the booster bundle before was fine and there wasn’t really any reason to make it bigger. Sports cards are the same way, there’s just so much extra space than what’s actually needed. The amount of paper, cardboard and plastic used to make these blisters/booster bundles/box sets and ETBs is A LOT of unnecessary waste and is wild when you think about it. I’m sure if they really wanted to they could make these products so much smaller

The pull rates definitely look tougher for sure, and I feel after OF the double bangers were gone from main sets, time to hit up more PE!
These new bundles are cool, but I miss the old ones. Also, somebody at my prerelease pulled an Ace Spec (hero's cape) and I think Iron leaves special illustration rare in 1 pack. 3:50 so I think you can still get double bangers in a pack. Edit: you got a double banger lol

At the risk of being exhausting, this bundle design has actually been out for half a year. Towards the back end of 2023, Walmart started getting Crown Zenith booster bundles in boxes like this. When I first saw them I thought it was another one of those after market mystery boxes. Then I saw the Pokémon Center logo.

The booster bundle style I’m not a fan of I use the previous style for bulk and energy card storage. Maybe the side can be broken down to use them as side by side storage. I’ll see we I get some.

The Deerling/Sawsbuck illustration rare combo and the Snom illustration rare are some of my top chase cards in this set 😍

I prefer the deck box style booster bundles that i can just load my bulk into, but these are fine too
I am loving all the artworks on this set, Pokémon crushed this one
The last box had the most pulls in the end will be trying to finish the paldean fates set feeling your pain pokerev so close with the special sets
I have seen multiple double hits at prerelease, ace + special IR or regular IR. I wonder if the prerelease packs are just way better rates than the main products
We just pulled a double banger illustration rare + regular ex double rare, so it's looking like double bangers are definitely a thing in Temporal Forces.

Haven’t started opening Temporal Forces yet, I might start with these boosters. It’s clean!
It seems like pull rates are tough but you still got some nice pulls. I like the newer packaging. They fit more boxes in a case now.

Set isn't even out yet and I love it! Can't wait to open some myself. Also I was waiting until the end of the video to make a comment about the double packs to see if you found out yourself...and I see that you did. I have seen an Ace Spec / SIR combo pack 2-3 times so far.
I have a pretty big pokemon budget and the only booster bundles that printed for me was obsidian flames 5 out of 7 bundles I pulled the zard but outside that set… snicklefritz Fritz
I think they started doing these bundle boxes with the most recent crown zenith reprint. My local Walmart had them months ago.
Good to know double banger packs can still exist, but they definitely tuned down the hit rate for it to be this rare. Still a bit sad, I hope the overall hit rate hasn't been affected

This set is so sick I haven’t been opening packs a lot lately because I have some buying singles but I’ll definitely be opening this Set and paldeon fates
I think I prefer the previous packaging for booster bundles that was similar to a deck box. Nice last booster bundle magic there!

That Iron Crown Special Illustration is one of the nicest I've seen.
I think you can only pull a double banger with the Ace Spec cards, since it’s in the first reverse holo slot. I believe that was how Paldean Fates was as well
Don't mind the new design for the booster bundle, but the old style was good enough and a lot less waste.. some nice cards with the artwork, but I'm still unsure about the overall set, though..

Seems like they are moving pull rates closer to that of sword and shield with higher rarities
I personally think ex cards should be in the ace spec slot. So that it doesn't take up any of the big hitter slots and also so that you can get a double banger with something else when you get an ex card.

I feel like the choice to make the booster bundles different was a bit odd, cause they could be used as deck boxes and storage before...
I used to use them to store cards 100% these are just weird... UNLESS it's for quality control, cus the old style could easily get banged up

I pulled the full art torterra and the awakening drums from the etb
I just opened a booster box of temporal forces and I did get a double banger pack. Pack hits were an ace spec and a full art reg trainer, so it's possible based on what I pulled. Don't lose hope may just be a rare occurrence. I love your vids and keep it up Rev!

So double bangers are incredibly rare, based on Danny P's early data. I guess what happened around 14:50 qualified, but not sure about other combos existing.

That snub tho. As for the double pulls, I saw one get pulled on another channel. I really believe they are very low percentage chance. I was almost believing there wasn’t any as well.
