Been seeing Justin videos for quite a few years. I feel obligated to tell, the fact. He is best teacher on TH-cam. Dude is humble, keeps stuff simple.. Basically the real deal.
Merci beaucoup a Justin, des lessons toujours aussi interressantes et beaucoup de pédagogie ! THANK YOU JUSTIN ! ET merci a la jeune femme qui chante FORMIDABLEMENT BIEN cette trés belle chanson d'Adèle ! 🙏
That C was at the top of her chest range. She had to switch to head voice to hit the D above it (ha ha, "Hit the D"). I don't blame her. I have to switch to head voice for 90% of the song.
As a recently turned bass to guitar player I appreciate your lessons. After playing for 40 odd years my ear is usually ok for picking up tunes. Your quick tips make it that much easier. Thank you. Also appreciate the varied skill level that you are trying to teach. Fantastic job Thanks Again.
Having listened very carefully and played along with the official video I think the half beat delay (tied over chord) in the verse only occurs when changing from the Cm to the Gm. I think the muting creates a similar but not identical feel/impression on the other changes, even though it sounds perfectly correct when you play it. It also sounds absolutely in time and perfectly correct with the video when I play it the way I've described.
Justin I honeslty love you man! I love you for all the things you taught me over the past 2 years that I've been following you on YT and on your site! Keep rocking that guitar mate :D
PS love the way you sing this Justin as well. Thank you for the lesson. I have never made request from you before but wish you would cover this song too.
I had my head turned when the video began and when I heard the voice, I thought... How is Justin able to change his voice like that (amongst other things). I was relieved to see it was not Justin but rather a very talented vocalist. Well done!
hello, your explanation is quite clear. Thanks for this, this Adele's song isn't that much easy to play, I mean to get the rhythm , Counting is fundamental See you. Keep on rolling in the deep. Cheerio And as me say in French : Bon courage
Once she started singing I completely ignored what you were doing with the guitar Justin lol. Amazing voice! I've seen her in several of you videos, is that your wife?
You're a superstar! Look I love rock and metal, but love learning other styles, instead of just power chords! You do from Oasis to Katy Perry to this. Ha ha funny but my band cover all these songs, love watching what you play and comparing with mine..! I spend ages trying to get same tone, same chords, play solo as it is on record. Thnx dude
Oooh that was almost out of her vocal range. Still though, awesome singer and awesome lesson. Thanks a million! I need to learn this song for my music program at school and this video will help with that. Thanks Jason!
This is awesome Justin! I have subscribed...I play (and sing) and this will be so helpful. Awesome guitar playing and wonderful voice on that one!!!! WOWZA!
When I play this song, in the pre-chorus I use to just strum every chord once and let them ring. Except for the G7, there played 8th notes with increasing volume for the build-up.
Hey Justin hard song to cover but loved the demo. Look up Mary Epworth "Dream Life" if you like. Her brother Paul was to do with producing that song. 4 times Grammy Award Winner. I have time to pick up my guitar again now I been through the mill...long story PS Hi to Jedi too!
my god, what a voice
exactly
Stefan Notter it's about the guitar
the voice is not relevant sorry
IT depends of the receiver.one for the gitarre and on for the voice pace
"Girls love this song."
Consider it learnt.
Yes indeed. Top priority.
It was amazing
hahahahahaha....
"The stars of Bb, remind me Gm, keep me Ab, that almost had it Ab again" I laughed like a hyena.
I would like to buy the song book with rolling in the deep, but don’t know which one. You do an excellent job with your tutorials!!!!!

You two ooze talent Justin.Thank you
I didn't think she'd be able to hit the notes in the chorus. I was so wrong.
That C was at the top of her chest range. She had to switch to head voice to hit the D above it (ha ha, "Hit the D"). I don't blame her. I have to switch to head voice for 90% of the song.

Or maybe it's all the other stuff going on in the record, like percussion, that make it quite hard to spot?
Seriously almost the only correct Rolling in the Deep tutorial on internet. Thanks!
Wow who's the girl? I've always said the only thing that could make your tutorials better is a hit girl... now you've reached the top!
Thank you for explaining the strumming so clearly

I spend ages trying to get same tone, same chords, play solo as it is on record. Thnx dude
Great skill and a great tutorial! I think more people should practise rythm instead of scales and lame soloing. The rythm's where it's really at baby!
"I can't do something so it's lame."
PROBABLY THE BEST GUITAR TEACHER IN THE WORLD
great lesson!
Nice chord thanks also to salina for singing the song
Oooh that was almost out of her vocal range. Still though, awesome singer and awesome lesson. Thanks a million! I need to learn this song for my music program at school and this video will help with that. Thanks Jason!
