This was during my Army days, so as soon as I arrived for my first tour of duty at Fort Ord, Monterey, Calif. I went out an brought the album an proceeded to wear it out, needless to say someone else loved it more than I did because it was stolen!
I was living in Ft Ord when this song came out (but i was an army brat living at Fitch Park with my dad who was a battalion commander). I was in the 5th grade at Stilwell and remember hearing a DJ play it at a school dance. My love of sweet disco has never let up.
