TVS has delivered this what was expected from honda, yamaha but they think indians are fools and only deserve scooters and toned down international models. we used to own TVS champ years ago and that time i had a thought process that TVS only makes slow moving mopeds. but with time , my thoughts got matured , I realized that TVS is the best Indian automobile manufacturer . this is another blast after Ntorq. good work TVS engineering team and best of luck for your future products.
I drove TVS Champ Moped, TVS XL Super, TVS Scooty Pep, Scooty Streak, TVS Apache RTR 160 2v and currently I'm riding TVS Wego. The least refined Engine is of TVS Champ Moped, really that Moped was vibrating heavily when we used to commute at a speed of 40 Kmph. But now TVS has been significantly improved in terms of refinement and performance.
All the Best TVS. You are always great. Surprisingly and also unfortunately, TVS could not able to withstand in 125cc segment. Victor 125 could not able to impress. Flame smoked off due to design conflicts. Phoenix is a great machine. But faded away. Now comes Raider with several segment first features. This machine should answer the questions in this segment.
This time they gonna succeed i mean look how impressive the bike is considering the price, I had no plan to buy a 125 but I think I'll buy this. This bike will be a fun for daily commuting.
Great job TVS for making 125cc the new 150cc!!! Safety requirements, tighter emission norms and fuel prices have made the 150cc class motorcycles unaffordable. But the Raider is the much needed breath of fresh air in a world of Honda commuters and watered down Pulsars.
Imagine a Raider 150 with a 6-speed transmission to battle the MT-15.🙌🏻 I really like the MT-15, but that bike needs some serious competitor to correct its faults.
No doubt Tvs raider 125 is a great looking bike with many segment first features. If I had to buy 125cc bike will consider hero glamour or sp 125 reather going with this. Reason :- practicality of bike. In 125cc who need riding modes????? Who need oil cooling components??? Why we need bluetooth connectivity??? I'm riding bike not a car. Suggestions :- 1).Give kick start option with electric start. Tvs can try segment first removable kick rode that can be attached when needed and can be store under seat. 2). instead of bluetooth connectivity or SBS (synchronised breaking system) give segment first ABS. No need of being fancy, some time being practical is more worth it. life is more valuable than anything in the world which this pendamic situation tought us very well. Having ABS in bike will atleast reduce the number of accidents. Hope tvs read my comment and near future I'm expecting similar kind of product as I suggested.

My experience with the Fiero and the First Gen Apache (2006) was phenomenal ! VERY Reliable motorcycles. I am an NRI now and haven't ridden a motorcycle since 2008 when I left India and sold my apache.. When I visit India, I'll surely test ride this.
I never expected these type of bike from TVS, usually we will find these type of bikes from japanese makers(Yamaha, honda, suzuki),Kudos to designers and engineers

A great proposition actually but I really request your company to give a rear disc and a single channel abs option as well for top end variants, that will make it a masterpiece in 125cc segment.

Good vehicle look 2.Good vehicle feature whatever in premium bikes. 3.New Head lamp technology. 4.Good mileage proposed. 5.Made in India (Tvs means solid quality) Thanks TVS such a wonderful product launching for middle class peoples. I bought TVS Flame which had bunch of similar features and guess what , it was a failure. - That three valve technology just needed more maintenance 😭 - Twin spark plugs were stopped due to Bajaj's legal case. - That stupid bike didn't had acceleration. - That digital console was just a gimmick , same here. After few years it's production stopped 😂😂😂 No resale value, no spare parts available, sold it for mere 4000 INR after 5 years ( 2009-2014). In 2014 bought Apache 180 for 30000 INR, riding it comfortably. Moral of the story, don't go for stupid features and style...wait for the product to be stable in the market, I lost 50000 INR on that "Flame" , don't be a guinea pig 😅 You will not get mileage of a 100cc not the power of a 150cc bike, trust me you will feel it after riding a few days and a small conversation with a splendor or a apache owner will kill you where you cannot budge about mileage and power 😂😂
TVS flame engine wasn't originally developed by TVS, it was developed by AVL. Phoenix 125 Engine and Raider 125 engine has been originally developed by TVS.
And my question is do you revved the bike for 100 Kmph before first service? Then dude it's your fault. This is the most common problem with all people.

You should also tell about the power and torque. Engine smoothness and handling too. These things matter more.

Don't know about rear disc but abs will be available in TFT display top model because in the TFt display image i have noticed abs logo so.. 🤞🏼
