Snoop only really had a few hot singles after those (thanks to the exposure) and a lot of features. Snoop definitely has his own style and presence on tracks but he's no lyrical genius or hitmaker by himself.

Dr Dre had doubts but Tupac was the one who brought Snoop and trusted Snoop to do it's thing and they were together ever since untill Snoop betrayed pac with his I got love for the east coast and i got love for the westcoast. I've watched enough Eminem reactions from many different TH-camrs to know that Stevie, Knox and Scriptwork are the go to guys for these sort of breakdowns. There are levels to it and they are right up there imo.
