I need to tell you that I watched this video the weekend before my nursing orientation and put headphones in my bag per your suggestion. Then we had computer modules all day and they gave us the hospital headphones and I used them at first but only ONE SIDE WORKED and they were new!! So then I pulled out my own from my bag and it just made my whole day of modules just a little bit better all thanks to you (:

I’m not working right now, but in my backpack for school I keep chapstick, lots of pens, pencils and highlighters, index cards, sticky notes, earbuds, phone charger, small notebook, gum, snacks, and my school I’d. Then I put things in there specific to what classes I have that day, like books, notebook, planner, folders with syllabus and assignments, tablet, my wallet. I don’t carry a purse or pocket book at school, because I don’t want to feel like a bag lady. 😂

I am curious how many days a week you work? Everyday 9-5 or 3-12 hour shifts? I am wondering if you could make a video on the pros and cons to working various shifts. Thank you!
I currently work really part time. 3 afternoons a week and every other Saturday morning. I can definitely make one like that!

I don't really carry a bag with me, but if I don't have chapstick in my pocket it is not going to be a good day. I've always had dry lip issues (ugh it's such a pain getting enough water!), so now that's just part of my wardrobe.
I completely relate about that statement haha. Its a day ruiner.

Great video which stethoscope do you have? what do you pay attention to when listening?
Why did you upgrade to a cardiology stethoscope as an NP? For nursing school do you think the regular old littman III classic will be fine?? Just curious!
I have the Littman III classic and I'm currently in nursing school and love it! It gets the job done and most of my classmates also have the Littman III as well! I can't speak about the cardiology stethoscope.
I LOVE my cardiology stethoscope as an RN. I bought it in nursing school and use it everyday at work. It allows you to hear even the quietest wheezes/bowel sounds. I wouldn’t say it’s an absolute necessity, but it’s a great tool to have!
I loved my littman classic III for my bedside job. That’s what I recommend for nursing. I got the cardiology because it has better sound quality and can pick up on smaller details. But I didn’t need that level of detail for nursing.
