Lansdowne Road was their greatest concert and this was probably the most spellbinding number of the entire show. Andrea, Sharon, Jim, Caroline, Anto, Keith ... thank you for a simply beautiful performance from six oustanding musicians on the absolute top of their game.
i love this song ...its very beautiful and emotional ...so deep and profound feeling and words here, its one of best songs of Corrs although i enjoy all of thier music ..its pity they made only few albums i wish they had made much more music!! its my favourite song togehter with : intimacy , dont say you love me ! :) wonderful and so true ! The corrs are Great ,love from Poland
We went and saw the Corrs when we were 14.. It was my first concert.. You were my my first love! You're married and have children now.. I miss those days 17 years later... It's hard to deal with what life throws at you sometimes..
Ever since I was knee high to a grasshopper I have always been a keen observer of people always curious about what lies beneath the surface - love this song it is hauntingly beautiful..........
The mystery of the human being: surfaces concealing infinite depths. They express it with beauty and compassion not often equalled. Their work is a wonder of our age!
Thank-you, Lorraine Ashby- you're very kind! No, I just write what I feel and see. They are currently one of my favourite groups of musical artists, a re-acquaintance since my first when my children were young (we used to dance to Runaway!). I think they express something very profound through their deep connection to their Celtic culture and land; many of their other songs move me as deeply. Elsewhere I link 'Closer' with Tolstoy: "Tolstoy displayed an unusual capacity to empathise by stepping into the shoes of people whose lives were vastly different from his own. In the 1860s, he not only adopted peasant dress but began working alongside the newly emancipated labourers on his estate, ploughing the fields and repairing their homes with his own hands. For a blue-blooded count, such actions were nothing short of remarkable. Although no doubt tinged with paternalism, he enjoyed the company of peasants and consciously shunned the literary and aristocratic elite in the cities. Tolstoy believed you could never understand the reality of other people's lives unless you had a taste of it yourself." www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-30536963
Ted Wrinch You express yourself so well. I can relate to your comment very well - 'Runaway' - their first hit - my daughters and I used to sing along to that lovely song. I think there is something very special about the way their songs are so moving and I think it has a lot to do with their Celtic culture. I love Loreena Mckennitt, Clannad and Enya - they all have the same effect on me.
Clever upload - beautifully put together for a beautiful song. Love Andrea's hoarse impassioned 'closer' at 3.42, the trickly, rippling piano fills from Caroline - And that great classic rock guitar solo from 3.42 - 4.06 (the end) - I'm assuming it's from Anto Drennan but not sure about this - perhaps somebody can verify.
@stevens0glenn i believe there´s a live version of this at the lansdowne road concert, and sharon playing keyboard on this which makes it extra special. love this song, one of my ultimate fave corr songs
to a special girl i once new,i loved her so much, this song reminds me of her so much.mel i love and miss you,it's been 7 years since i sore you.still think of you everyday and till the day i leave this earth............xxxxxxxxooooooo
I am not much a fan of the Corrs but have always felt this is one of their best songs. Surprised it wasn't released as a single or included on their two compilations. It is definitely better than their predictable songs like "Breathless".
I hate to draw the point from the beauty of the music, but seriously, are there any finer looking women on this planet than these three??? Do you think that any super models are more beautiful than these women? fuck, the marketing dept of their label must've thought they were dreaming when they first saw this band!!!
Angela Fisher I don't know man is just that I live in Spain and I can't freaking help it, I hate them!!!!!!! xD sorry, is funny now, but sometimes I cry, Im serious. Of course there are preety girls here but god! sooo many of them are assholes... sorry but....uh my experience.
People in Spain can be rude in general, in my experience, at least in Madrid...but there are nice people too, you just have to be open to them when they turn up!
MICHAŁ BAWOR - = from YOU = - Really?/Indeed? = - it is right and proper = my = - a starry sky = - a country's territory = MY HART = ANDREA CORR = I LOVE YOU !
Wow what a great song one of their best 🎵🎶
this is not just a good song..this is the most stunning and beautiful song ......timeless
This song's message is lasting, and it's unfortunate most people say they prefer rap music over masterpieces like these. The piano work is ace.

ah, this song has such harmony and grace. i love it. mostly because of andrea's voice, i think.
So thankful my mom introduced me to The Corrs. This song is one of the best.
I will always love this song, ❤ thank you Corrs.
after 8 years, 2 relationships and 1 son, this is still the most gorgeous song that I've ever picked as 'our song', ever, here's to you lynnie xx

this is really turning out to be my fav corrs song
The musical world isn't simply the same without the Corrs. I wish they were still singing.
Love this song so much
Cosmically incredible. Miss The Corrs.
super melodia, imi place foarte mult, chiar are dreptate ca nu ne uitam la nimic de mai aproape, le lasam pe toate sa treaca fara sa ne intereseze
Awesome, again and again, and again!!!
I remember blasting this in a college parking lot. I bet no one even heard of the Coors back when they first came out. Was amazing!
Clever upload - beautifully put together for a beautiful song.

i guess there s a magic in the voice of Irish women
wanting someone that isn't yours completely... is self inflicted pain!
I wish every beautiful girls in the world is just as simple as andrea...

beautiful song, straight from the heart. is there an acoustic or unplugged version?
i like this number a lot*****
Ega udah lama saya ajarin SEFT, Pak Gatot. Dari sejak saya nginep di sana dulu. 2017. Rajin tapping dia. Proud of you, Ga. Do it again, okay?
Mas Dea iri, Ga. Kok gak pernah cerita ke aku. Katanya.
Mama seneng, Ga. Kata Mama.
Dek Dara blom sempet diajarin. Dia sibuk sekolah waktu itu kan, Bu Gatot.
Bagus Satrio Utomo, mampir ke Ega aja, biar diajarin. Lama kamu gak pulang ke Cendana.
Salam buat Mega ya, guys. Ajarin juga. Butuh banget dia. Kasihan.
Inesquecível !!
Nice song!
um a die hard fan of corrs.........
Bella canción.
there is more to me, than what you see...
@Serenity09T in fact, this is it, this is live. the album version is slightly different.
I hate to draw the point from the beauty of the music, but seriously, are there any finer looking women on this planet than these three??? Do you think that any super models are more beautiful than these women?
fuck, the marketing dept of their label must've thought they were dreaming when they first saw this band!!!
ma quanto è bella........
@missdarkangelxxx I agree, One Night is a best one.it contains gorgeous musics.
@lunesoleilastre God, what a coincidence! I like these 2 songs the most :)
You can hear the Carpenters influence in this ( who they very much admired)
I LOVE YOU,,,
Thanks
***** Most definitely Anto Drennan playing the guitar solo on the red Strat
Pure Irish
@sheimi91: Ahhmm... It's not actually the VEVO thing but VEVO publishes high quality videos even in low resolution settings. :)
Why is it that The Corrs do not have VEVO? :'(
LIEVE ANDREA SHARON EN CAROLINE IS DIT EEN NIEUWE HIT SCHITEREND DANK JE WEL WOUTER JOANNES
Which one of the Corrs wrote this song?
Jim and Sharon, the 2 eldest, were the main writers when this was written. They started the band as a duo!
It's one incredibly beautiful composition.
so sweet ~~:) hi ~~~ :0) ~~~
I see you
close air ?
Cooles lied..
czy zdajesz sobie sprawę że Andrea cię nie kocha ? pozatym wyszła za mąż?
these women are so hot
@whitebeardw1ll "2 relationships+ 'our song'" = wtf??
Andrea is Irish, as they all are, but for some reason, she reminds me of a foreign woman, like Spanish or Indian lol, in this song, and some others.
+Natasha Kershaw she is way to preety to be spanish. Maybe from latin america...
rude remark, junior, there are many beautiful Spanish women; why can't you compliment Andrea without insulting scores of other women?
Angela Fisher I don't know man is just that I live in Spain and I can't freaking help it, I hate them!!!!!!! xD sorry, is funny now, but sometimes I cry, Im serious. Of course there are preety girls here but god! sooo many of them are assholes... sorry but....uh my experience.

The pronunciation "close air" kind of annoys me.
