8 years later and im still thankful for this video. now that i know how to remove it my dad will let me install an android auto screen on our fl2 👍
Followed ur Video and was able to remove Floor Console of my FL-2. Rats had invaded my FL-2 when I did not drive it for a few months following a stroke. The wiring was damaged at multiple places. Had to open Music System also . Luckily all the wires are Color Coded so joining them was easy. They also damaged a Orange Fibre Optic Cable which goes from Central Front Music Console to to Amplifier in the boot. Need to find a replacement from the breakers.
Thanks for the educative Video
You guys make life so much easier. Easy to follow directions. Thank you keep posting.
thank you for all your awesome videos so many have helped me BIG TIME so huge thank you for your contribution to the freelander community!
Great info. But can you tell me if it’s possible to replace the front cig lighter. With out having to take the console out. Cheers. Paul
excellent video. made it v easy for even an idiot like me ! Thankyou so much .
Thank you sooo much. I really wanted to know this!
Do you plan to supply the silver gear knob surround in piano black? the silver looks so cheap.
Thanks a lot!!!
thanks dude
By removing this console, can you access the forward cigarette lighter socket wiring? I want to remove one of the cigarette sockets on my freelander (a non working one) and replace it with a USB type
@@L663 I just need to replace the cigarette lighter next to the gear changer as the illuminated green surround has disintegrated. The attaching wiring is so short I can't pull the cigarette socket fully out to replace it. Do you think removing the terrain response module and the gear changer gaiter would be enough to access the cigarette lighter wiring to disconnect it and reconnect it? Thanks Andy
Merci bouceaup
I know this video is several years old, but I just wanted to say thanks to you two mates. I now get to help a friend of mine replace his leather in his center floor console. 👍
Glad it helped!
