One of the most under rated tractor lines in my opinion. I've spent time in all the 30 series 2+2s. The 33 was under powered in my opinion, the 35 was the best all around, the 37 never seemed to have the right gearing because of the three speed trans. The 37 was also slower on the road which was a drawback. I always liked driving them, they are good solid tractors that can still out pull tractors of the same horsepower today. The only weakness is the pivot could be stronger and like every other IH, the TA
Depending on who you talk to, IH was either ahead of their time or off their rocker with the 2+2s. Either way, they look like they would be fun to drive.
Belcertown mass austin farm has one and in ny mcfatins tractor bone yard their are about 6 of them big basterz must of had problems i thought were people sent them to the bone yard but if your in new england check out micfatens bone yard huge and lots of old iron
I've always preferred the IH brand but ever since I saw the first one of this style I can't understand how anyone would want anything to do with a tractor that is so ugly. what we're the engineers thinking?
I did not know they were only made for such a short period of time in the early 80's. I recall when they were new.
