Can we use a diesel dq250 mechatronics unit(only the mechatronics not the gearbox as you mentioned the gear ratios are different in a diesel) with a superb 3.6 vr6 dq250?
Hey Prerak could explain about the issue on the high pressure fuel pump and how you solved it. Because this is quite a common problem in the skoda laura
In my case, it just needed to be primed again, which we did by pouring fuel straight into the intake which force started it, priming the HPFP and it never re occurred, I’ve seen cases where installing new ones solves most of the issues.
Hey, do you know what's involved with changing a dq250 from a VW GTI to awd?. wondering if it's like the manuals where you you just need the transfer case, and awd differential in the dq250
It won’t be rear wheel biased, it’s a haldex system, during launch or slippery conditions, the bias will be 50-50 and in most driving (normal) conditions the bias will be 90-10 or 95-5 for later Gen Haldex systems. The one I’m using here is Gen 4 Haldex system out of a 2010 Škoda superb 3.6 VR6
Hi brother i have jetta 2.0tdi automatic my flywheel is making noise suggest me any best service centre who has knowledge about german cars I live in chandigarh.
Best is to get a brand new one from Service centre itself, there are cheaper alternatives which start at 24k plus labour, but they will fail within 15,000 KMs too, get a branded one from VW which will be 60-65k but it will last you another 5-6 Years
Had been collecting the parts for it, ended up needing a lot and the project laura diverted my attention, doing one this year tho, will be uploading a video on it
Bro i also have laura and i swapped dsg with oem manual as dsg was broken and hard to maintain but after swapping the car is not starting properly it takes a long self upto 5 seconds and that connector 10:48 you are showing in the video is dangling in the engine bay , can you suggest any solution?(starting is the only issue i am facing

This is going to be a front transversely mounted engine layout with rear wheel bias assuming its not haldex based awd system

How did you wire the clutch?
Why would you not use dq 500 transmission instead of dq250 ?
Flywheel was even harder to source for that one, dq250 was much easier to customise as well
