Thanks, pastors, all your explanations are right, for me, I applied it in terms of business and it has been working for me for a long time, this is my understanding of that scripture, it is like a business investment, cast your bread upon the water and after many days, you shall find it, give a portion to 7 and even to 8 means release you bread (money) and invest into 7 or up to 8 ventures, and after many days, profits will return to you. It goes further to say in verse v 4 that observeth the wind will not sow, which means if you observe too many issues or you observe obstacles too long(wind), you will not be able to invest, and eventually you will reap nothing. Remember, Gen 8 v 22 talks of seedtime and harvest, so i guess it has different applications and it works in all situation, indeed the word of God is real. Halleluyah.

The business of heaven is trade law and justice. We all have something to trade to make a living.
In this explanation bread and waters need to be defined. Waters in Revelation means people. Bread is not just a physical thing but also a spoken Word in season. The bread of life is the Word of God. To cast ones bread among the waters is to bless freely other people with what has also fed us...&that act itself is a form of storing up for a future day of just rewards

This is awesome! When I think of bread I think of Jesus who is the bread of life. I believe that we as Christian have something valuable and it’s to teach people the word of God. So when I think of cast the bread upon the water I think of Jesus the word of God to the lost souls and bringing them back to God.

You actually have it more accurate than these predatory false wolves in sheep’s clothing. These charismatic, Pentecostal tv preachers are all about the false prosperity gospel.

I think, Seed is different from your bread.
Seed is meant to be plant, bread is meant to be eaten.
