I like the cam jams. No knot tying, just take 2 cams out, wrap cord around tree, and cam jam both ends for a ridge line. When running a tarp I do the same, but use 4 cam jams (2 of the clipped together where the cam parts are facing opposite of each other so I can tighten either ends for the ridge line and the tarp line.
