This just came up in my TH-cam feed. Sounds so sweet , thanks for sharing. I’m learning guitar and I will revisit this video later when I’m off work, lol
This is fantastic! Never really tried open tuning before. MJH is a favorite. I've tried to play Stack o lee for years only to be frustrated. I'm picking this one up fast. I like instant gratification. Good job man!. I'm subscribing.
@@kostringworks I just played it in C, which mostly works but there are a couple problem areas that are pretty frustrating. I admire how carefully you work out all these tunes pal
@@dak7302 Would love to hear this in C! Yeah, I was pretty determined when I first started learning these tunes. My biggest trick is this: if it feels hard for my left hand, it's probably the wrong key or tuning. Glad yr still checking in on me over here!
Thanks. John hurt has to be one of the the best guitarist ever
Absolutely! I’d have to agree with you on that!
Very Happy to have come across your site this morning . This song is the reason I bought a guitar ! Thanks
Thanks Brian!! This is one of my first lessons on TH-cam, glad it holds up!
That was excellent and I can’t wait to try it. Your enthusiasm is great and infectious too 😁👍🏻
Bill! Thanks so much! Glad you think so, it’s pretty much my fav mjh tune so I get excited. Haha. Best of luck to ya!!
Nice! Learned more in a few seconds than in years. Thank you so much!
Perfect! I’m so glad to hear it man!

Stack o lee is a tricky one isn’t it!? Glad this one is working for ya Mike!
And thanks for subbing!!
Lush. What’s that guitar you’re playing? I snagged a wee 12 fret similar made in Vietnam and it’s about the best guitar I ever owned.
Thanks! It’s a Fraulini Guitar! Handmade in Madison Wisconsin. Curious about the Vietnamese guitar! What’s the name?
I've been playing it in standard tuning for years. This explains why that's so hard and terrible
Hah, cause it's pitched to E?! Makes sense. I have had my fair share of that situation bud. Trying it in D?
