I totally didn't get jumpscared by it when I first tried launching the game without the disk... But I do love how angry Jirard (I think that was his name?) gets if you just hit "start over" without the CD
7:45:30 OH GOOD, AN OPPERTUNITY TO WRITE A PISSED ABOUT A QUESTION LETTER. Wolf packs don't have alpha males and all of that stuff. Those were from a study that got retracted by the very author who wrote it after studying wolves more themselves. It's not even all too new of a thing, the retraction came out before this game released.
I’m certainly trying a YDKJ game sometime. Maybe Vol 1 XL first because that one looks fun and unique, and these can be easily found on steam or the internet archive in original CD-ROM form!
for me, my favorite has to be Vol.4: The Ride and its German counterpart, Vol. 3: Abwärts! Mostly because the banter between hosts is on a completely different level, they went above and beyond with funny sponsor tie-ins (looking at you, Ye Olde Booze Shoppe) and they mess with you even beyond just the actual game content, like randomly disabling all vowels when entering your name. ...honestly I just want a fifth German version to exist, it has been 2 decades...
German is a pretty difficult language - luckily i am a native speaker but i can imagine how hard it must be to learn x3 If you keep practicing it you will improve :D One thing that helped me a lot with english was at first watching German TH-cam with subtitles (granted, there aren't a lot of channels where this is possible...) and later on actually talking to native speakers.

Hey, FYI the 2008 Flash version from Jellyvision's website is playable again through Flashpoint with all 100 episodes accounted for.

My personal favorite YDKJ game is either 2011 or 2015. Or both! They’re pretty good and were a good return to the series!
