I'm getting my first custom piece from Dave at D3 soon. I love custom saps and jacks, but I have to say, for a working man's sap the boys at Boston Leather make a good, useful tool.

007Vaughn yep!! D3 makes some good stuff from what I’ve seen... I’ve yet to put hands on any of his work, but a well made handmade sap/blackjack is a very different animal from the more mass produced ones, and the price reflects that...
The better made (you kinda get what you get and don’t throw a fit) Boston Leather saps are decent for actual users... I’d personally recommend the 4ply ones...
