Do you think you could do it for more topics, such as population and the environment, or physical geography. I find that I am not as good as geography as I used to be due to online lessons, and these help so much!

Analysis and assessment of the geographical consequences of global systems to specifically consider how international trade - and variable access to markets - underly and impacts on students' and other people's lives across the globe." I am currently trying to revise for an upcoming test and really don't understand this point. Any help would be massively appreciated! Thank you so much
Hi Charlotte - I know its quite an odd part of the spec!! It basically means - because we have globalisation/ global systems there is much more international trade - but this is not even to everyone (variable access to markets). So some countries (ie the UK) trade with countries around the world - we have a high access to markets - and we import a lot of goods. Whereas others do not have the same access (mainly LICs). So then... how does this impact lives. So in the UK with high access to markets we can get iphones food from around the world and have a 'higher quality of life'. If you think in terms of covid we also had vaccinations first. Whereas places with lower access to markets may have a lower range of goods and that can impact lives. hope this helps?!
