The castle is designed based off of Japanese art Kintsugi where they fix broken vessels with golden lacquer representing the way HWR fixes the broken timeline

So that they can become the better version of themselves. Even if Sylvie was the good variant of Loki, she's still a Loki. They all bring pain and suffering whether it's on purpose or not. And in the end, Loki will always be alone.
After ep1, I was thinking that if going up against a Loki makes you a better person, then this Loki can become a better person, since they were after a Loki. And she has made him better.
