I was lucky enough to see Andy in concert a couple of times and his voice was pitch-perfect, even at the age of 78. Superb voice which often wasn't appreciated fully because he made it look so very easy. Definitely one of the greatest voices of all time. RIP Mr Williams, you truly were a special, gifted man.
I so agree!!! Andy Williams was one of the greatest singers that ever lived and can't believe he never won a Grammy. There is no one else like Andy. He is missed by all his fans!!!
Brings tears to my eyes... "And after all the loves of my life Oh, after all the loves of my life I'll be thinking of you and wondering why... Loved you, Andy Williams since I was six years old! After all the loves of my life, you will still be the "OAO" There will be another song for you, and you will sing it....
My deepest sympathies to the family! Andy will always have a super special place in my heart! Heaven is richer, more beautiful place today with him singing around the throne of God! There will never be another better singer. He poured all of his heart & soul into each song & you can feel it. Have all his Christmas albums. Holy Night & Little Jesus Boy alawys brings tears to my eyes. RIP Andy. No Andy for Christmas, no Dick Clark for New Years. The holidays will never be the same.
Slowly every year all the great entertainers from my childhood are passing away. This man was no exception. I remember him vividly. Always seemed like a great guy, with a great voice. RIP
One if not the greatest singer of all time, must have seen him several times, always superb and this song one of my favorite songs, always remember the first time I saw him at Belle Vue in manchester must be 45 years ago the buzz before he came on was something else,I seen a lot of the top stars micheal Jackson Diana Ross Madonna even the Beatles but was only 11 so don't really remember much also the carpenters but nothing to match that night.God bless you Sir to me your are a legend
Put a sock in it, you can't compare Richard Harris version by anyone He's the BEST singer for this song which i love so much so there! That instrumental midway just makes me dance like crazy,I love it, I love it, I love it !!!
This song is a special one for me . one time I asked Andy "What do the lyrics mean?" and he answered " I,m not quite sure either" Anyway I was able to hear Andy sing this lovely melody in Branson. Everyone will miss his smile, at times his impish smile, and the warm regard he seemed to have for everyone.
Loved this version.Love Mr. Andy Williams.Great voice/talent. Great person. We don't even come close to his class in today's music, men or woman. Nothing better than before 1985-90 in music, movies,TV. NOTHING. Today is all garbage, foul mouth, naked, tattooed, nasty, rude,no talent people.
YEAH! That's right guys, he truly was one of the greatest singers/entertainers and this performance shows the versatility of the man. Andy.....I will always remember as a kid in the sixties, being "forced" to watch your show and not anticipating the reverence I would ultimately have for your talent as an adult. Your memory lives on!
A great voice, cannot think of any song he sang, that was not first class, a real singer, no yelling, just great, pity there are not any current singers that compare. My opinion only, sure some will disagree. The impossible dream is also one of my favourites, he does it better than anyone else I have heard
This was the only version I knew of, and I loved it, crazy lyrics, but entertainment. After this version came out, all the trouble with his ex-wife, and all seemed to be put on hold. The voice of the decade!!
I was at the last concert he did at the Albert Hall, he was, I think 81 and could still do it. He sang incredible songs of his life including this one. I loved Richard Harris' original but Andy Williams interpreted other peoples songs wonderfully too. As President Ronald Reagan said, he had a voice of liquid honey. He was often derided as the safe unthreatening singer but he was absolutely great. Now we have people who can't sing, with hit songs without a melody, gangster rap, and even so called greats (Adele) need autotune.
To this day I vividly remember the first time I heard MacArthur Park performed live (circa 1975). Listening then brought a tear to my eye and gave me goose bumps. Listening today I had the same reactions. Thanks for the memories, Andy. RIP
LOVE Andy Williams!! He's got a lovely voice and how wonderful to share it with all of us. Too bad more of this kind of music went unnoticed. Bring back the good 'ol days, when family meant something and we all gathered around to sing songs together.
Always so wonderful seeing him perform.. I go to see him in the 80's at our Local fair.. Great powerhouse... Effortless when he sang.. He is continually missed..
Andy had the best voice in American pop, always been my favorite, and still is. Sadly this song was recorded as he was coming to the end of his strong high range control. This is life, does not diminish what this amazing man did with exquisite taste for so many songs in so many years and styles. If there's one I don't play so often, so be it.
A true, golden voice. Re. the song, a critic some time back (don't recall his name, won't bother looking it up) said this song was "the worst song ever written". That critic was one of the worst critics ever, in my opinion.
Andy was fabulous, I always loved his version, and as a young girl at the time, I hated all his other music. I also really love the way Richard Harris does it.
What an incredible voice and love this song and Andy but really bummed about the weird 3 minute intro and that he didn't go for the high note ending which is a must. Listen to the original.
The interpretation is great... but the instrumental breakdown is incredible compared to the studio version... so far the version alive is better than the studio one...
I think you really need a young man to belt out this song... A song for a young, to early middle-aged man, with all respect to Andy. ---------------------------------------- I believe there is a rare recording of Vic Damone singing this.... I haven't heard it in 21 years.
No disrespect to Andy, but Glenn Campbell's live version with the South Dakata Orchestra is soooooo much better. Just go watch it. You will agree. It's not even close folks.

Andy was in his late 40's when I was born - he had the most magical voice......just so calm and easy......I wish I could have seen him live.
Brings tears to my eyes...
"And after all the loves of my life
Oh, after all the loves of my life
I'll be thinking of you and wondering why... Loved you, Andy Williams since I was six years old!

What an emotional, passionate song, sung by a commensurate artist! 🥰😢
this is when music was music!
My deepest sympathies to the family! Andy will always have a super special place in my heart! Heaven is richer, more beautiful place today with him singing around the throne of God! What a fantastic orchestra and an equally fantastic singer.
That was the hippest Andy Williams ever got! Excellent version! I like the way the guitar solo stoppoed for the brass/orchestra features.
Lucky enough to see AW twice in the UK . Top voice in my opinion . . . . . . . . a sad loss
Slowly every year all the great entertainers from my childhood are passing away. This man was no exception. I remember him vividly. Always seemed like a great guy, with a great voice. RIP
His legacy will go on till the end of times. We all miss you Andy.
The greatest song ever ?? I think so !!!!
What a voice and talent. He will be missed!
another wonderful voice That will never be forgotten; a true American icon--RIP Andy!!
One of the greatest pop songs ever written, interpreted by one of the greatest pop singers ever. Sheer freakin' genius!
Damn...Andy did it justice...wasn't sure how this was going to be but he definitely owned it...
He truly had an incredible range. How you ever listened to the end of "Speak Softly Love" from The Godfather...damn!!
Put a sock in it, you can't compare Richard Harris version by anyone He's the BEST singer for this song which i love so much so there! That instrumental midway just makes me dance like crazy,I love it, I love it, I love it !!!
Superb singer! I love his voice and his songs.
RIP Andy...

Absolutely fantastic. Andy at his best and the orchestra were superb. Thanks engreena!
the best of andy williams...

Yes, he was a fine singer. Underrated.
Memories like these make living extremely difficult. The personalities, their lives, voices, acting are never to be exceeded.
To this day I vividly remember the first time I heard MacArthur Park performed live (circa 1975). Listening then brought a tear to my eye and gave me goose bumps. Listening today I had the same reactions. Thanks for the memories, Andy. RIP
NO ONE BEATS ANY! I will always adore him!
great song great singer
So lovely! I remember hearing him in the late 70´s singing just this amazing song.
WOW!! What a voice.
Great singer and is missed!!!! Great Performer aswel!!!!
Saw Andy at this venue some years before this concert. What a great singer to the end and thank God we have all these great memories
I Liked more his performance on the Grammaphone, in 1972, with great orchester, and full of passion.
aside from the instrumental breakdown i love andy william's passion. he's really trying ta sell it, he'll never have that recipe again :P
One of the greatest voices ever, he makes it seem effortless. Superb singer.
Great job with a difficult song.
Andy has now joined the hall of fame up in the sky? R I P andy & god bless you!!!
LOVE Andy Williams!! He's got a lovely voice and how wonderful to share it with all of us. Too bad more of this kind of music went unnoticed. Bring back the good 'ol days, when family meant something and we all gathered around to sing songs together.
Today, nobody cares about the other versions. RIP Andy - and thank you
WONDERFUL RENDITION OF THIS WONDERFUL SONG. ANDY YOU HAD A TRULY GREAT, UNIQUE BEAUTIFUL VOICE!!
Always so wonderful seeing him perform.. I go to see him in the 80's at our Local fair.. Great powerhouse... Effortless when he sang.. He is continually missed..
Glorious performance.

Beautifully said .... I share your sentiments! RIP Andy Williams .... heaven is now a better place as you join the choir of Angels!
Grand artiste au sourire inoubliable, Bravo Andy!
WOW.....Formidable desempeño de este gran cantante norteamericano, Excelente voz y Maravillosa canción y Orquesta...
RIP....Andy Williams
Another favourite
This is a great example of a brilliant tune with daft lyrics.
Do the research words make sense
Poetry contains metaphors.
MEMORY ETERNAL !!! THANK You Andy !!!
WOW
Beautifully sung
A true, golden voice. Re. the song, a critic some time back (don't recall his name, won't bother looking it up) said this song was "the worst song ever written". That critic was one of the worst critics ever, in my opinion.
Simply outstanding.......
Fantastic !!!!! ;o))>
Andy was fabulous, I always loved his version, and as a young girl at the time, I hated all his other music. I also really love the way Richard Harris does it.
best cover of all time
Great voice but no one will ever touch Richard Harris version of this song.
Mr Smooth Velvet ....I remember his shows in the 70s...
Спасибо тебе за прекрасные песни. Вечная тебе память.
Великий голос! Спасибо за прекрасные песни! Меmory Eternal!!!!
Love this song ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Well, if anybody *could* match Richard Harris on this song, Andy Williams has done a good job here of *almost* surpassing the original. RIP.
great singer
muito bom a performance ...... de Andy Williams
wow - that girl really musta hurt Jimmy Webb so bad.
What an incredible voice and love this song and Andy but really bummed about the weird 3 minute intro and that he didn't go for the high note ending which is a must. Listen to the original.
RIP - AW ~
Andy Williams does a good job but in my opinion Glen Campbel's , also with a live orchestra..... is....... the absolute best !
maravilha de arranjo
LOVE IT....WISH I KNEW WHAT THE WORDS MEANT........MIKE
In some ways, they don't need to make sense- its fine just being a metaphor for whatever
Bela canção
RIP
The interpretation is great... but the instrumental breakdown is incredible compared to the studio version... so far the version alive is better than the studio one...
Admiro al Sr. Andy Williams, pero en el caso de esta melodía, me quedo con la interpretación del Sr. Sammy Davis JR.
I think you really need a young man to belt out this song... A song for a young, to early middle-aged man, with all respect to Andy.
----------------------------------------
I believe there is a rare recording of Vic Damone singing this.... I haven't heard it in 21 years.
Very good... but the recorded version was more exciting
Andy correctly sings it as MacArthur Park as opposed to Richard Harris' MacArthur's Park.
HI
sorry this is a beautiful version Richard Harris or Glen Cambell's version rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Brilliant Andy Williams. I like Richard Harris the best version. It's only my opinion. Andy had sutch a lovely voice. But not for this .
fin de carrière pour Andy......ça chante moyen
No disrespect to Andy, but Glenn Campbell's live version with the South Dakata Orchestra is soooooo much better. Just go watch it. You will agree.
It's not even close folks.
I prefer Bennett's version
great song writing. great voice.
