      @@TarkanSelahiye Yes, I am familiar with Trapcode. Generally you would be able to get a similar result using Trapcode Form and maybe Trapcode Particular, except for the grid layout. This is not so easy to create with Trapcode.

    • @flythedragon1559
      @flythedragon1559 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm a noob in After Effects. But if he used a formula for the rotation value, then I think you would have to lower the value you multiply time by.
      For example:
      time*100 --> Rotates very fast.
      time*50 --> Rotates a little slower.
      time*20 --> Rotates very slowly.
      time*5 --> Rotates very, very slowly.

    Thank you for a wonderful tutorial.
    I have just started experimenting with Stardust and I have 2 questions : 1) do you know how to make an edge around all Earth continents, to make them look more prominent? and 2) I have tried to change the colour of the Numbers and of the rectangles - but no matter where I change them (Inside Numbers comp or in the Main Comps Stardust) it still remains the white colour that we originally assigned to them. Can you pls give advice on those two questions ;) Thanks again for great tutorial. :D

    • @graphicINmotion
      @graphicINmotion  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Julia,
      ad 1) you would have to create an extra map or update the used map. The continents are determined through a black and white map. If you add borders to this map, it will also effect stardust particles. To make the more prominent, either increase the particle count or size
      ad 2) I used a map for the colors using a field effect. (at 18:30). If you want to use the standard color controls, you would have to delete that node.
      Thanks for your comment!

      Jordan this is a very broad topic. Try to google "professional workstations for After Effects". You will find a lot of discussions. You need a fast cpu (cores are not so important, but speed is), a lot of ddr4 RAM (64GB at least, better 128GB), a good and AE compatible nvidia graphicscard, two SSDs (one for system and programs, one for caches), one or two fast and big HDDs for data.
