SMOKEY JOE SHOULD BE THE FIRST IMAGINE ON MOUNT RUSHMORE FOR ALL OF ETERNITY OOOHHH HELL TO DA YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish Smokey would re record this. The live versions of this I’ve seen from last 2-3 decades are much much better than the original version from the 60s
Smokey always interacts with his audience -- he loves his fans so much. I think this may have been when I was there!!! My mom and I sitting in the front row and I shouted out BABY BABY!!!! He said that same thing -- and then stayed right there singing Baby Baby--- I will NEVER ever forget it.
What a voice and he still sounds good. I like the classic songs. They are timeless and ageless. I'd like to see him and Bruno Mars record this song. And no, he's not the new Smokey, there's only one. The ICON, the Legends that's it. Now you can shine your light, and however bright your light may shine, you can't out shine the Original. Just telling it like it is....SMILE.😊
I agree. The Sax makes it sound too much like the Ronstadt cover version. I’d rather it sound like the MIRACLES’ ORIGINAL. After all, He and THE MIRACLES were the ORIGINAL ARTISTS…not HER.

Smokey....the greatest. There was Sam, there was Otis. But this is the man who wrote the hits you all love. Pure fucking genius.
Damn Skippy!!!!
Who the heck is that on the saxophone 🎷 wow, so so so magical so so so good 💝🥰💛🥰💖🥰
That’s what I’ve been trying to find out from another video

Love the SAX intro to Smokey's song, Ooh Baby, Ooh Baby. Soulful and heartfelt. Reminds me of my teenage dating life!❤

Bruno Mars couldn’t touch Smokey with this song……..
00:21
I would like bruno mars do this over
Yes yes yes
Is one of the lead backup singers Claudette? I know the one helping Smokey out on this selection ain't!!
No I believe he was divorced from her in 1985...this video is around 1992
Is that Tina Turner at 1:10?
Personally .. I could have done without saxophone player.. Just my opinion
