I will say this the day we brought Chaplin my eyes lit up he's such a talent I hope we keep paying him enough to stay he's a Ipswich legend already 🙏🏻 ladapo I knew would get 15 goals and the rest wow we deffo going up we will win the play offs each if we need to easily best team since 02 season broadhead keep it up love being a town fan the highs feels so great when they do come
Conor Chaplin on fire and with the right attitude, great positive attacking performance from the lads which we need to keep going, getting out of this joke league is not as easier task as it looks so discipline going forward to the end of the season is needed, Broadhead for me is a great signing and just takes the pressure off Ladapo in some games if he's not firing
Brilliant game, bit of a slow start with a lot of stop/start tactics from Burton who were clearly trying to slow the game down with dirty tactics and time wasting (which the ref and linesman kept ignoring). But the whole team were amazing especially Mass and Chappers and great to get the third win on the bounce and fourth clean sheet in a row COYB
It's hard to single out anyone after such a good performance but I have to. Obviously Chaplin scored 2 and got a nice assist but... Luongo is the best midfielder. I was watching him closely in last few games. He's different level. Hope he stays fit. Walton was lucky to not get a penalty awarded against Town when he missed a cross and landed on Burton player. It was a foul. He has to be more careful.
Looking at the angle and acceleration of the ball I think it was Burgess and even commentators agree that he missed it. But I'm not willing to put my life on it. There is always a chance I might be wrong here. Without 60fps closeup video there's no way to prove it so it's time to leave it as it is.
