yes Jeremy died when they were looking for the cure Katherine fed Jeremy to Silas then after they all got back Elena thought he could come back from the dead because he whore the Gilbert ring but the ring didnt work anymore on him because he wasnt human he was a hunter one of the five so Elena was in deniyal at first but after she lost her hope she shut off her humanity :) hope this helped :)) ( BTW LOVE THE VID!!)
