People complain about the ex being too strong. There is a cost to that and that is 2 match points. This deck is great at nuking them for 100 to 0 ! Thanks for sharing.
They are both too strong and give too many points. Ex were made to speed up the original tcg. Pocket was already made to be faster. Plus there was not grace period without ex for players to experience the format. I think if ex came in the 3 set or a year later and brought back a lot of apex pokemon as ex they would be better received but now most ex just invalidated their generic versions.
This deck feels like the one most my style from other TCG games, what you would call a tempo deck, still gathering the pieces and saving pack points for it. Ive gotten 3 Mewtwo EXs before getting any Kogas or Wheezings and i dont know how to feel about that. I wouldnt mind some gengars or gengars EX either.
@@animalchin5082 Thats exactly what i want. But ill probably mess around with only 2 at a time. Sabrina, Profesor, Koga and Pokeball all x2 take a lot of deck space.
Blaine is the best non-ex deck hands down. I win like 80-90% of my games with it. Only issue is water but it can still sometimes just rush it down too fast anyway.
@@bubuxviv 60. 80 actually because it gets type bonus. If you have second turn, you will beat Mewtwo EX easily. Won't be able to escape with round 1 hit as Ekans and round 2 as Arbok. Round 1 you still usually win unless they have potions ready.
earlier i went up against this deck and was like hm alright, but didn't know it was an actual deck combination people use, so its interesting to see the types of variations there is.
Sup Spragels! I've been loving TCG Pocket and the Non EX Deck I run I like to call "Unga Bunga". Its a Brock deck that uses Onix and Kabutops and just hit thing hard.
6:36 what was the point of E-Speed when all you did was trade out your weak Pikachu, which gets one shot, for a healthy Pikachu which also gets one shot?
@@F0XD1E He literally just attached an energy to the Pikachu that replaced it. So it's a wash, except for the fact that his benched Pikachu now has 10 less HP and he no longer has E-Speed.
6:44 there was literally no point to this. All it accomplished was burning through your lone X Speed and setting you back 10HP. What was the thought process? Saving the one with alternate art?
I assume that the Pikachu will be available on the same way (via premium pass) on the first weeks and then they will change for Mewtwo, then Charizard.
@@EricHernandez-ib7jq whats the point of evolving? all pokemon stage 2 needs atleast 3 energy so you cant attack anyways while oppornent probably gets 160 damage on you with farfetch
@@bubuxviv the point is not right now. First expansion was balance around early game attackers because of EX pokemon. Eventually we get better stage 1 and 2 attackers. Better energy cheap. Basically the first player that will be able to attack with a powerful hit most times will be the 1st player. What you see right now is just a product what card were included in this expansion
I have my eyes on this deck for a while now but i can not for the life of me pull a magnemite from the packs of all things, and spending pack points on a common feels sooo bad.
I think it’s just annoying how when you open a pack you can get repeated Pokémon of cards that you already own. Like why do I need 11 slopokes when at max I can only use 2
I love this deck. The magneton ability into surge into raichu KO to win was beautiful

I've been having lots of success with a single prize darkness aggro deck with just Weezing and Arbok.
@@dasoupsoup ive been running into them a lot with my mewtwo and pikachu ex decks and they are really good

I'm running Wheezing Arbok and the pidgey line and it's really fun and controlling with Koga

unless you get mistyed ig
@@bubuxviv sure, but that can happen to anyone haha
@@zaka9862nah 99% of the time misty flips are tails so you're safe. Though I'm still using misty x BlastoiseEx just because Blastoise is mah boi.
This is the deck I've basically been trying to make since day 1. Still dont have a single Magneton :(
I've had 2 wonderpick chances that both had 2 magnetons in them and managed to dodge both times, feels bad
Same also no Raichu 🤣
Sammme dude, or Lt surges
Or raichu ;-;
20 packs not a single hit..
Pidgeot/Aerodactyl Deck is off meta. Been using it and it is hilarious when see their invested EX pokemon got send back to their deck.
Grapploct and Pidgeot deck is hilarious and fun to play, I highly recommend it.
Arbok + Wheezing. Mostly because Arbok is so powerful. No more swapping EX shenanigans for your opponent.
It punishes EX decks.
cool idea..mewtwo will counter it though if gets 2nd turn..it does 50 damage with 2 energies

Best non ex is easily weezing/koga/muk right?

Did this deck by accident from day one, just absolute raichu jumpscare
Golem brock can tech go in any deck. With misty water energy seems good. Or maybe grass executor deck with erika

Will the full art pikachu be limited edition after genetic apex?
I assume that the Pikachu will be available on the same way (via premium pass) on the first weeks and then they will change for Mewtwo, then Charizard.
Best non ex deck would be alakazam clefable/ koffin
It would be cool if pikachu EX could evolve into raichu, super broken, but cool
I think brock will be bad until we get a steelix or steelix ex. But it should really be erratted to work on all fighting types or do two energy
Arbok/Pidgeot or Arbok/Weezing maybe :)
"Nuke deck" when it meets charizard ex: 🐲 you can't Nuke me, but I can Nuke you =3
The nidokingdom is the best deck imo
I'm a bit surprised Pichu and Raichu aren't in Unite. Going first just feels bad in Pocket and EX seem kind of overrated.
Going first is very powerful with the right pokemons evolving first would become just better and better the more stage 1 and evolution cheap we get.

Do you think electro decks have an advantage right now because of how common legendary birds and misty decks are.
Also rock isnt very common
Is say it hundred percent has an advantage becuz of the meta of water and misty decks
brock would be good card if would say : golem line
really wish they had more metal cards class needs some help
bisharp actually isn't bad, very aggressive if you go second it hits for a total of 100.
@@CookingwithCommander yea as of right now I like running bisharp in a normal deck, melmetal is okay but isn’t great I don’t feel

ninetales blaine
blaine agro is the best
all games shown were vs weak types
this deck is too reliant on getting the right cards vs the meta decks. i wish mewtwo was gone
bro be honest, u made this deck for the little league tourney LOL
You should start saying "nerf misty" at the end after the kiss.
