The quiet lake looked a lovely place to relax I think especially if there's a big group of you with food and drinks etc
...the other lake in the town very picturesque. The dog ignored you I think he didn't understand Russian dialect of English 😉😉
Some great looking noodles I think I'd have been very content with those 👍
...and Chinese tea to wash it down can't beat it I'm a big fan of Oolong tea.

Found another waterfall!...we have been on the volcano past days but we are headed to one too. We know the feeling of enjoying being closer to the waterfall. There really is something beautiful when you can get up close and really enjoy it. But that's life and we move on to lunch. lol What is broccoli surprise :) Aloha

That was a real nice temple with the night market. Keep on producing the videos!
That temple is in the centre of MHS behind the post office. The daylight scenes at the lake are great. You couldn't really see the temple buildings which are Issan style temples behind the chedi and have more exposed wood than the typical Lanna temples.

I haven't been to Doing Inthanon in 2 years because they have a sign that says big bikes are not allowed. One of my friends recently went up there on a 800 CC bike and they let him in, maybe I'll try it again. The waterfalls are spectacular, especially Mae Ya.

Do you change the oil in your motorcycle and lube the chain, before a long journey? We just did 8 days on Mae Hong Son last month, excellent ridding time!
I've never paid for access to Pah Seua or the other locations - maybe it's a newer thing. We used to be able to get right down to the rocks at the base of the falls, and I've taken some nice shots there in the past.
The night market and food around the lake in MHS is always fun. Behind that pink wall there used to be a little group of old wooden houses (we had friends who lived there), but as the older folks died the younger generation sold the land for redevelopment - a pity.
For those wondering why Mickey was surprised by the broccoli, its not a common vegetable used in Thailand. Most thai dishes use some other local vegetables, and broccoli is quite pricey compared. So its quite rare and especially at a remote area in that small restaurant.
I hate broccoli.
I can say this is a heaven on earth ! Good trip in the north of Thailand. I enjoyed it very much. Thanks !
At Ban Rak Thai you can enter Lee wine resort to visit Tea Field for free and also view point on the top of Cha Sa Rak Thai. You miss that most beautiful view.
