    I do agree there is a plethora of scamming content creators out there, but not all are scammers. Nothing wrong with selling on your platform as long as you genuinely deliver ALL the value your product claims to bring

      Iman CLOSED his "agency" 2 years ago.... why would soneone do that instead of sell it? Why would someone give advice on running an agency if he cannot even run one himself? 😂
      Open your eyes.
      See the actions, not the words.
      Iman did NOT make his big money with his agency. He did it in 2021 with his NFT collection and make 7 millions.
      Then he invested in crypto.
      Do NOT believe what he says.
      He is not intelligent, he lies.
      Thats a big difference and your ability to spot the difference will get you to not fall for scammers.

    I agree, the part that pisses me off most is how these youtubers talk about “growing their agency to £xxx /month” and their ‘agency’ is one that helps other agencies grow - effectively growing their course to £xxx /month. in my opinion if you haven’t grown an actual marketing business that helps other businesses, you don’t have the right to teach other people how to do it.
    i bought a £3k course and it was absolutely not worth it, generic content you could find anywhere, i still kick myself for buying it today. wish i’d joined Sam’s inner circle for 3 years instead 😢

      ORRRRR use free youtube videos to start making money. if you aren't making money with all the free info thats out there then a 3,000 course isnt going to help you. Stop buying entire courses.

    • @722DM
      @722DM 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@knight808. yeah, i mean pretty much what i just said. i completely regret buying the course there was absolutely nothing in it that isn’t on youtube already. if you’re going to buy something, buy something like sam’s inner circle where you get direct access to someone that already owns a business in what you’re doing imo

    I think its becoming more and more obvious that a lot of theses "Gurus" like Iman have no actual business or experience.
    Its easy to find out too when you ask for proof and there is a change of subject or a excuse given, also age is a big giveaway, some people selling courses are in their early 20s, I am not saying its impossible to make it early but its very very rare and to then go from running a successful business to instantly selling courses/guides is a very small timeframe.
    This now seems to have evolved into these "Entrepreneur" Communities, where they buy into a group of "Alphas" to chase their ambitions.

    The truth always comes out!
    I’ll say this, I got started with his course, it really helped me, not because of the cours itself, that was all very basic stuff, it was something to commit to finishing and changed my identity into an action taker.
    In saying that I knew a lot of it was BS. I had a meeting with one of their “trainers” who was frustrated that I was taking my time to learn the skills before signing new clients and told me that if I don’t sign a client (on a big retainer) within the first couple months of buying the course then I’ll never succeed with the agency.

    • @wemarkettrades
      @wemarkettrades 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Don’t listen to them, it took me 4-5 months to sell me first client on a smaller retainer and I’ve been doing over $10k/mo for months now a year and a half later. Everyone goes at different paces

    One of the biggest criticisms of Iman in these videos is people saying "Why did he close the agency, why didn't he sell it?"
    The reality is that marketing agencies have little to no enterprise value due to the key man risk. Successful agencies are only successful due to the founders knowledge, and to sell the business or remove the founder would be to lose 90% of the businesses value. This is especially true when the founder leverages a personal brand like Iman would have done to get his agency clients. The key man risk and the personal brand makes it "unsellable" because the founders insight into an industry + brand cannot be transferred to another owner.
    Marketing agencies have little to no enterprise value and cannot be sold, even if they're making high earnings. They are extremely valuable to the founder and can make good profits, but have little value to a potential investor, its far too risky. These criticisms often come from people who don't understand enterprise value and what private equities tend to look for in investments.
    "Why would he close a successful business?"
    Because he found a more successful business. He realized that teaching is more leveraged than doing. Who wouldn't?
    Not an Iman fanboy, I don't follow him, but some of these criticisms are unfounded.

    • @9xXGameOverXx9
      @9xXGameOverXx9 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      its easy to sell the information and systems in place, usually the founder is not even working in the business, he is working ON the business talking to managers making sure everything runs smoothly.
      so the 90% loss is incorrect

    • @jalennelson4285
      @jalennelson4285 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@9xXGameOverXx9 No it absolutely is not. I work in the industry. I literally put on an industry conference and one of the biggest challenges faced by agency owners is that they can't sell it.

    • @knight808.
      @knight808. 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@9xXGameOverXx9 Imagine you go to a friend's house for the first time, and you go to use their bathroom and realize you cannot figure out how to flush the toilet because despite your lifelong experience with flushing toilets you cannot seem to work this one out. You tell your friend and then he walks in, jiggles the knob in a strange pattern and he flushes it for you.
      You then ask your friend " How did you do that?" and so he tells you EXACTLY how he did it. He even gives you a piece of paper with instructions on exactly how to do it yourself. You are happy now because you believe that next time you go to use his bathroom, you will know exactly how to flush the toilet.
      The next time you go to his house, you go to use his bathroom and when using the method he taught you to flush the toilet, you realize it doesn't work. Now you are stuck right where you started.
      You call your friend again to tell him that the toilet doesn't work and he takes one look at it and says "Ohhhhh I know EXACTLY why!" and then bangs the top, hits the side, turns the water valve half a centimeter to the left and then one inch to the right. He then tries to flush again and it works. You stare in amazement because you don't understand what just happened.
      This is exactly how most agencies founded by a single man as the face works. This is also why people are afraid to buy as well. You pretty much have a single guy that understands the nuance in his own business and is able to beat up his asset to produce results but the problem is if you remove that guy from the equation everything falls apart.
      When do we start banging and how much do we twist? Twist too much and stuff starts to break. Bang too lightly and ROAs starts to drop. The value was never in the business, it was in the person. Certain agencies work though.

    • @delbimore431

      Not true.
      Iman had it run by his team.
      He said he was barely involved.
      He could not make it successful. Period.
      Or he would NEVER HAVE CLOSED THE ONLY PROOF HE HAD why he was credible to give advice about running an agency...😅
      And a company gets sold on their ability to get results for their clients thanks to effective processes and ads management.
      Thousands of agencies get run and purchased... ESPECIALLY if they could claim they BOUGHT IMANS PROCESSES AND AGENCY!!
      The real reason is that there was no success... and he preferred to close it when he started getting wayyyy too much attention on his numbers.... 😅

      @@delbimore431 He was in infoproduct and ecom. For other agencies like home service base or something low ticket like lead gen, you can sell the business without having clients leave. Info product and ecom is different. People came to his agency because he was in the space. Clients won't stick around once he leaves because they're paying a premium to work with him.

      lol personal brand is everything and yet he still prefers being an online guru cause it's easier to sell to people who already know and admire his lifestyle. Running an agency isn't easy at all but you don't know what you don't know. Especially for kids who look up to him. He's a very good actor, looks the part and has the best lighting, cameras, videographers, editors etc.. everything he posts makes him sound like some genius trying to sell you the dream. It's actually funny to me but it has clearly worked out for him.
