From what I understand after watching this video is that in planning a project, one should choose whether they will use Blueprint(s) to manage tasks, or say Kanban. But not both?

A bit confusing - appreciate you laying out the info but it felt a little disjointed so I’m still feeling a bit confused.

after creating a blueprint - why is it no longer possible to move task on Kanban view?
it pop a message "attention: You cannot update the status for tasks on which blueprint is applied."

Unfortunately the Kanban view locks it down, there has not been any movement from Zoho on this about changing or updating that unfortunately. You have to click into the record to move it. The only way a status can change is via a blueprint and clicking the button. No other way unfortunately :(

@@Clientric That's like a shooting themselves in the leg - Kanban is basic + and blueprint is basic. how is it possible they conflict .... thank you for your answer, I was looking for some info about it a whole day

@@EllynoyBaron the blue print is specifically meant for controlling a task in general by a specific user. Only when the conditions are met, the tasks can change status. This is determined by the assigned user. So it is good that it cannot be moved in the Kanban anymore because those prerequisites / conditions are not shown there.
