The Airport Renovation looks impressive, but there are some questions/problems that I have about it. 1. Delta, Air Canada and United Express operate out of the current terminal 2. United Express has flights out of T1. Where’s Delta & Air Canada going to fly out of? Terminal 5? RECOMMENDATION: Divert all Delta Flights to Midway Airport. Delta has flights to Atlanta from Chicago Midway Airport. 2. What will happen with Terminal 5? Will it get renovated into a Domestic Terminal? 3. Will ANA/Lufthansa no longer fly out of Terminal 1, and Japan Airlines/Iberia out of Terminal 3? 4. American Airlines refusing to sign agreement for Renovation (May have already compromised, IDK) 5. Will there be a new concourse D? 6. Demolition of south end of Concourse C. 7. Where will all the flights go during renovation of Terminals 1 & 3? 8. Will some flights get diverted to Midway Airport? 9. The new renovation may get people confusing if people aren’t familiar with O’Hare. 10. CTA L Stations 11. Will there be a train/mobile lounge that connects the Satellite Terminals like at IAD (Washington-Dulles) 12. Will there be a Terminal 4? That’s all I have.
WHY would you even ask that at this stage? Let the experts and the AIRLINES work out the DETAILS. Besides, Did you SEE HOW MANY ADDITIONAL CONCOURSES and GATES are being PLANNED? It looks like MORE THAN ENOUGH SPACE for EVERYONE!
Where is the great city of Shitcago...i moved away from the war of the gangs years ago and will never be back.....i lived in Lincoln Park but the crime is crazy everywhere in Shitcago!!! Its a democratic shithole so what can you expect!!!
ORD (Orchard Field) opened in 1926, long before the overwhelming majority of homes in the area were built. Additionally, airport operations are funded entirely by landing fees (paid by the airlines) and rent/concessions (also paid by airlines and retail/restaurant operations). O'Hare isn't funded by property taxes.
Great for Chicago! What will be the impact on all of the surrounding communities within 30 miles of this Mega-Airport? Increased Pollution? + Increased Noise? + Increased road traffic? = Increased Loss of Home Values!

.Give it a REST ! Let the TRAINED PROFESSIONALS do their jobs. None of your questions are even relevant.
Finally! O'Hare has been in need of an upgrade for a while.
sounds like a shill
Yes, very beautiful indeed! Just hope that the congested road traffic from and to the great city of Chicago will be upgraded soon!

Airport revenue in the form of real estate tax credits needs to be shared with all homeowners within 30 miles.
Long over do.
Update USA

A very good idea.

How will improved airport architecture get passengers who live in lower income architure onto more planes?
I agree

How do you propose people get around? Also the airport is already a mega airport. Home Values are already affected as they have been for a while.
I’m curious as to what bozo’s built and/or bought homes around an airport of that size?!?
You don't wanna live next to a major airport?
So don't live next to a major airport!
It's so quite f@cking simple!
Ok so they said 50 billion in annual income to cook county.......then the better not cry broke no fucking more........#crookcounty
Food and beverage, let's hope so. The current situation is one of the worst of all major American airports.
