That day the air temp was about 45-50 degrees the water temp was probably somewhere around 40. The lax depth where I was catching them was around 8-10 foot but all the baitfish were at the surface so I had my bobber set from 2-3 feet and that was doing the trick. But there was baitfish all over the place and I was catching the crappie in water that was anywhere 3-10 foot deep so it didn’t really matter how deep the water was that day. Normally I do better in the deeper water though

Lake St Clair canals, Stoney Creek, Kensington Metropark are the best spots that I know
too bad you cannot eat the fish in the huron river that runs through there because their was a big chemical leak in the river
