hi thanks 2:19 - off the horse -> rushing crow -> -> shadow leap -> stinger -> -> insta dod -> -> engulfing -> -> -> c , tbs -> swirling -> etc. sometimes my s look different because usually I do side s instead of ww s, but sometimes I just mix them together without thinking about it there really is no reason for that I think - its just a habit. sometimes the side s feel faster, but I don't think they actually are. Combos: there are no set rules really - you see a lot of the time i weave in s basically because you have to with cooldowns and what not. Using darkflame or shadow hellfire is slow, so i avoid those unless i have no shards/stam and can fwd guard if you're a mid-distance away, you could approach with rushing crow and then to cancel the slow bit at the end where your scythe is stuck in the ground (this is new!!! before you had to stinger to cancel it, or wait for the animation to end leaving you exposed) into shadow leap. Then depending on the targets distance, you could engulfing or stinger if its safe or go right into tbs or some other cc you really have to assess in real time what abilities you need to do to position yourself safely and get to your target, but something like that might work. For instance if I know I have a good flank on a group of players, I will use dark claws in amulet (w +lmb) and then rushing crow (w + rmb) to cancel the animation to get both crit rate and cast speed buffs. then I'll shadow leap in and do tbs -> swirling -> grim -> soul reaper -> magnus. Something like that is a (mostly) protected combo. If you think people see you, then you may need to not press swirling to instead for grim to re-cc anyone caught by tbs. you can also do tbs -> swirling, and then if you don't see anyone on the ground just press f to go into nightmare to reposition. Other engage might be with shadow eruption. I'll do -> shadow eruption -> or -> shadow eruption -> soul reaper. here you can throw a bit more dmg in with magnus or a rabam or something. Then depending on the situation you can do w+f to re cc in amulet or grim or even soul harvest (careful of the shift + q downsmash though, positioning is important here) to float into whatever dmg you like to finish them off (lol we lack 10-15% dmg to actually kill meta it feels like though which leads into my next point) If its a 1v1 I like to not use soul harvest to float since there's a fairly easy to pull off triple downsmash stack by casting blades at some point into filler and then casting swirling and the on the last hit of swirling pressing shift+q shift+space as fast as possible. 3x 30% chances lands somewhere in the 60% range to downsmash and reset on average which is really good and necessary to kill some classes in 1 combo 1v1 Another common catch/engage is with nightmare - you can be in a group of people similar to how I described earlier and rmb behind them out of nightmare -> f/shadow eruption into your combo. This will probably be the most common way you catch lesser skilled players once you learn what abilities the class you are fighting are fwd guard. Good players will use your nightmare against you (but I have tactics for this as well) Finally you have long range DoD knockdowns - simply casting dod from range and catching people -> closing with rushing crow into shadow leap and then press vio or GRIM or shift+X. DO NOT press tbs in this scenario. I did/do it all the time and you cc cap them with tbs and they stand up in 1.5 seconds - you can't kill people in that time. very bad habit to form. Instant DoDs are similar - you get in close -> dod -> when you think you wont get caught in the protection gap and you think you can catch. i like to shift+x after, but you can f or Shift+f or w+f to start your combo. Really whatever you are most comfortable with. most of these clips and really in general i just use dod for dmg (pretty poorly too i have a lot of bad habits with it), so i would say do what i say and not what you see with dod. There are more combos and things like shadow leap -> vio and then canceling vio before the Kd goes off and you cc cap them, signs of agony meme catches, shadow wave stuff, but really if you stick to what i listed above and then apply that to other catches you might do in the future for instance like catching people with the KB from blades - then I think you will be just fine. It's a double-edged sword of freedom here. I can't tell you to just do a particular combo, because sometimes that wont work, but at the same time if gives you a very high ceiling to learn and practice sorc and it feels very rewarding when you play it well (.... some of the time... when you can actually kill players that is ) sorry for the wall of text... it seems a guide might help me and you the most, but I'm very unmotivated to play BDO with the new wow expansion out in the near term Feel free to ask more questions in this comment thread, and I'll reply when I can, so others can see. Thank you
Sure thing: garmoth.com/character/d6Goz8O5kX that includes all my builds, but I'm running build 4 DR DMG in PvP at the moment. Crystals for that are: 4x macs 2x red spirit 2x jin spec eva 2x glorious olucas 2x visionary elkarr 1x haetaes -> either 2x rbf viper 1x bitterness or 2x bitterness 1 rbf for your last 3 slots. whatever feels better for you (i'd recommend just more dmg, but some 1v1s feel better with more tankiness) I recommend -atk/cast speed and -mov speed on magnus, since its something you can keep up perma on someone in theory. Very annoying. the others - i'd recommend something for your playstyle, but i have crit + cast speed on shadow eruption + tbs -dp for target + crit dmg on swirling + human damage + down attack on grim and then cast speed hp on hit on crows I'm not sure if its optimal, but i find that I don't need to run +acc/-eva down anymore. also I'll probably change my addons next week lmao

Can u write ur mobility and engage combos, please? Especially 2,19 move :) Thx for good video
hi thanks
2:19 - off the horse -> rushing crow -> -> shadow leap -> stinger -> -> insta dod -> -> engulfing -> -> -> c , tbs -> swirling -> etc.
sometimes my s look different because usually I do side s instead of ww s, but sometimes I just mix them together without thinking about it
there really is no reason for that I think - its just a habit. sometimes the side s feel faster, but I don't think they actually are.
Combos:
there are no set rules really - you see a lot of the time i weave in s basically because you have to with cooldowns and what not. Using darkflame or shadow hellfire is slow, so i avoid those unless i have no shards/stam and can fwd guard
if you're a mid-distance away, you could approach with rushing crow and then to cancel the slow bit at the end where your scythe is stuck in the ground (this is new!!! before you had to stinger to cancel it, or wait for the animation to end leaving you exposed) into shadow leap. Then depending on the targets distance, you could engulfing or stinger if its safe or go right into tbs or some other cc
you really have to assess in real time what abilities you need to do to position yourself safely and get to your target, but something like that might work.
Then depending on the situation you can do w+f to re cc in amulet or grim or even soul harvest (careful of the shift + q downsmash though, positioning is important here) to float into whatever dmg you like to finish them off (lol we lack 10-15% dmg to actually kill meta it feels like though which leads into my next point)
If its a 1v1 I like to not use soul harvest to float since there's a fairly easy to pull off triple downsmash stack by casting blades at some point into filler and then casting swirling and the on the last hit of swirling pressing shift+q shift+space as fast as possible. 3x 30% chances lands somewhere in the 60% range to downsmash and reset on average which is really good and necessary to kill some classes in 1 combo 1v1
Another common catch/engage is with nightmare - you can be in a group of people similar to how I described earlier and rmb behind them out of nightmare -> f/shadow eruption into your combo. FIRST FIRST FIRST
nice. could you share crystals /addons/build?
Sure thing:
garmoth.com/character/d6Goz8O5kX
that includes all my builds, but I'm running build 4 DR DMG in PvP at the moment.
Crystals for that are:
4x macs
2x red spirit
2x jin spec eva
2x glorious olucas
2x visionary elkarr
1x haetaes
-> either 2x rbf viper 1x bitterness or 2x bitterness 1 rbf for your last 3 slots. whatever feels better for you (i'd recommend just more dmg, but some 1v1s feel better with more tankiness)
I recommend -atk/cast speed and -mov speed on magnus, since its something you can keep up perma on someone in theory. Very annoying.
the others - i'd recommend something for your playstyle, but i have
crit + cast speed on shadow eruption + tbs
-dp for target + crit dmg on swirling
+ human damage + down attack on grim
and then cast speed hp on hit on crows
I'm not sure if its optimal, but i find that I don't need to run +acc/-eva down anymore.
also I'll probably change my addons next week lmao
