    This was very helpful. I found a chrome sebile 125 in a snag on Lanier in my kayak and glad to see someone that knows the lake explain the lure. I think I saw some of your stuff of a fishing group earlier today too. Good stuff!

    Surf the Tube & found your channel. Great info & presentation. We're all love fishing here in The Land Down Under, mostly salt water but on ocassion we do hit the rivers & creek. Never experience nor use jointed swimbait before but after seeing your show we might give it a try. Congrats mate, got yourself a new sub. Will be checking out your other vids. Cheers from Auistralia.

    I picked up a few SPRO’s but haven’t tried them yet. They look solid. Thanks for posting this review. 👊

      They have been extremely productive for me in the late afternoons when some clouds and wind move in! Hope to hear back once you get some time on the water with them!

    Enjoying your vids! I’m having trouble locating the “ Seville”? Is that the correct name? Tried your link but did not see it there and also tried Tackle Warehouse.

      It is known now as the Magic Swimmer from Berkley.

    I picked up some of the 105 Spro swimmer. This video was great. I have a question: what rod and reel set up are you using for the smaller swim baits like the 105?

    • @brooksandersonfishing
      @brooksandersonfishing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use a Dobyns 705cb paired with a Curado 70 mgl. It's a great setup for throwing smaller baits such as the 105! I would also use 12lb fluorocarbon to add some distance.

    Great video, thanks. I throw the jointed stuff on spinning rod, braid to leader. I just can't get it far enough away from the boat with bait casters. Got any tips on better casting distance?

    • @brooksandersonfishing
      @brooksandersonfishing  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Absolutely, I have found that throwing 12lb line and a more parabolic rod has helped my distance tremendously! I would also make sure your reel is spooled up completely this helps getting some extra distance! Hope that helps.

    Opinion on rob jordans equivalents?

      @brooksandersonfishing  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I’ve thrown them a few times, but I honestly don’t have enough time with it to give an honest opinion. I would like to test one more however; I haven’t pulled the trigger on buying my own!
