  • Bangladesh's Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus swearing-in ceremony as the head of Bangladesh’s interim government
DHAKA, BANGLADESH - Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus is sworn in as chief adviser of Bangladeshi interim government along with a team of advisers.
The leader of Bangladesh’s interim government arrived in Dhaka on Thursday and appealed to the nation for calm, days after his predecessor was toppled by protests and forced to flee, leaving violent chaos and profound uncertainty in her wake.
The new leader, the Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus, returned from Paris, where he had been a guest at the Olympics. He was scheduled to be sworn in along with more than a dozen other members of the interim administration later in the day.

Hundreds of students were killed by Hasina's autocratic regime, which is supported by the Indian government. We want justice. India should stop interfering in other countries' matters. They have done the same in the Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and everywhere else they were expelled. They are the worst country in the world. We want a united South Asia excluding India.
