My favorite part: 6:43 You seem genuinely discovered that part of Xcode for the first time while recording this video 😂 I learned new things watching this video as well! 👍🏼
Hi, Mayuko! I really enjoy your videos as a person who is new to Swift and programming. I have started learning Swift in December 2017 and have made a pretty good progress with it in terms of language (wrote a pretty useless 1000 line command line program that solves all logical Sudoku puzzles in the world). Anyway, what I wanted to suggest is maybe you could make a video about SDKs and say which ones to start learning first and how they work in general? After I finished reading Apples Swift 4.1 book I was like ok let’s open Xcode and make some fancy apps! Not very surprising it didn’t work out so well. First of all I stumbled upon way too many unknown buttons in Xcode itself and at some point I happened to find out knowing the basic language from Swift book was not enough to make apps with interface. So, I would really appreciate if you made a video about SDKs (and maybe include difference of SDKs and APIs). Maybe what are the most important SDKs and most popular ones. Thanks for reading this long comment in case you did and keep up with amazing work you do :D
It's crazy that a year ago I thought I would end up as a web dev but lately I've been switching and gearing towards Mobile and iOS is what I want to do
sorry y'all 😣 this was my first time trying to sync up audio and video and I didn't do a great job of it. Joma taught me a couple of new tricks so I promise it'll be better next time!
I would advice beginners to skip Storyboard and program everything yourself. It's actually a lot easier to do it that way, and it also gives you way more control over your view components. Also make sure to always test your app on a real device. The simulator is great for tests on older devices or devices you do not own.
Hi Mayuko, congratulations on your videos. I have a question: I am unable to open a file with XCode. The problem it presents to me is "Unexpected closing of XCode" when I try to open the file. What do you think it can be due to? Thanks again for all your videos, keep it up.
Hello Mayuko. Here what I think everyone would like to learn, how to create a login et signing system, how to insert et retrieve data from firebase and upload image and video on firebase. I would love to see u explain it to us. Thank you
Hello Can I ask how much time did I need to be ready for some internship in IT field I know a litlle HTML and CSS now I try to learn JavaScript :)? P.S:You are awesome hope there's more girls in IT 頑張ってください :)!
Hi Mayuko, your videos are really awesome and very helpful for learning computer science. Why don't you make a video on using Android SDK for building apps. That would also be great..
To download the newest Xcode seems to update to High Serria first, but is it good to update? there's some comment says that high serria is not good enough?
The newest version of macOS is going to be the best, safest, and most upgraded version. That said, if you're on an old mac, then upgrades can make your computer slower.
She's an iOS developer, isn't that why ur on her channel to learn more about iOS development? kinda silly question asking if she does front end or back end.
I am not that good of a developer yet but if there's one thing, I've learned. Google is your friend. Google first. Shoot questions later. Actually, google everything. Google IOS app vs front end vs back end. Most of the time you'll get your answer. Know how to ask a question would be the first step in learning programming. Remember, google is your friend. :-)
Skip to 2:12 to jump right in!
You really have no idea how much your POV is helping change my life. Keep the videos coming. Thank you!
I just wanna say. I'm not even into iOS App development but I love your videos. They're entertaining.
