I am not surprised that Andreas contributions were dismissed by the group. Rick Unruh seems to be the leader in this group think of “othering” Andreas. His disregard of her value was evident during the second episode by insinuating she only cooks. Again in the third when he had no compunction about leaving behind her most valuable asset-the sewing machine. Fully aware he was financially crippling her. Finally being the first and most vocal in refusing her a gold share in the fourth episode. That being said, Mr Unruh exposed his true personality pretty quickly and it should have been addressed from the beginning by the group. Hope he enjoyed that piece of humble chocolate from a WOMAN’S labor.
I’m very disturbed about how they treated the only woman on there team. Got angry with her, wouldn’t help her. She was forced to say that white men were treating her unkindly. And to come up with the conclusion that she didn’t deserve a share for the work she already put it was criminal. It’s 2024 and men like this is still treating women like second class citizens
