I come to comments to say this as well. I think when you add that to the "wear your heart on your sleeve" verse, it kills the it's Jay-Z he's talking about.
@@jaydeneveleigh1062 and that's like, your opinion man. Whether it's the best song or not I explained why it had significance to me. My wife and I have been together since this album came out when we were in HS. I'm just asking my favorite reactor to include it lol.
One of the most overlooked songs on the entire album, his flow on this is ill af too Em never misses when it comes to smooth flow switches/transitions. Still think this track is an obvious playful jab at all the big rappers at the time. Jay Z and Lil Wayne specifically. The way he mocks Jay’s “aw” flow in the second verse from this song is an obvious one. Plus the way he says “loosen her up with a little freestyle, oh wait am I losing ya” makes it sound like he says “Lil Wayne” instead of “oh wait”. Em is a very clever MC everything has a rhyme or reason as to why he say things in the way he does and why he does it in general.🐐💯(Also did I mention the production from Em on this track is fire as hell! I believe this is one of the first track where Em has a heavy in production since coming back from his hiatus.)
Jay z named Em in a star is born. And Slim says he’s a star like the logo on the helmet of the Dallas Cowboys (Beyoncé also from Dallas I believe). And the “Ah” scheme is from Jay Z song from the same blueprint 3 album and they were on a unreleased track called Syllables. The track is ambiguous enough to be about both of them but there’s some clear Jay mentions.
Wrong. She’s from Houston and Eminem writes and produces for Jay Z or has. Jay Z never references him wearing his heart on his sleeve. Lil Wayne straight up called Eminem out to RAP.
I think this is both. Especially with the fire Marshal line going towards Lil Wayne. The "bitch" being the rap game on his dick now that he's back and any other rapper can't compare.
Eminem doesn't write for Jay z and if you want reach and say, because eminem produced renegade years before Jay was on it that that somehow means he produces for Jay than... Yeah.. Ok sure.. Lol
@@mikedabeast360 fair enough, I forgot about that. However I would say that's closer to sending jay a beat that Jay's team handled the final touches on. Em's role was more of a beat maker than executive producer. you're technically right but I still wouldn't say em produces for Jay z.
@@YolichM this is exactly what it is. It’s such a reach for people saying this is about Wayne. It doesn’t even make sense especially if you were around for this time period. Wayne and Em respected each other
It could be for Jay and Lil Wayne as Jay mentioned Em in a star is born plus Jay is a Dallas Cowboys Fan too. That’s my argument. Jay also makes the noises Em was making too. Also Em mentioned Dame as well or Dame Dash left Jay too. But that’s my opinion. Loved Your Reaction. It’s Pure 🔥🔥🔥🔥. #Karen got it so right on why should Em say Your name earn his respect first then if Your lucky he might say Your name. As it makes them bigger than what they deserve.

The reason I always thought this was about Wayne was, well, bc of the lyrics about tattoos, fire marshalll, and etc. But being alive and aware at the time, it made sense. Wayne had been running the game since Em went on his hiatus. This was Em returning and saying he’s still number one. And it was true. He went back to the top.

He can't help it. It's part of the foundation of his whole style and if he is on the spectrum a lil bit it's coded into his rapper brain to let the audience know that he is the best who ever is in the Big 3 of that Time. Jay Wayne and Em.
@@CliffBeatsOfficial I don’t think Em moves that way with people he respects. Plus Wayne never hated on Em or dissed Em so it would be pointless for Em to be taking shots, even nudges, directly at Wayne.
