Face to face with the enemy: trench battles of the 3rd SAB for the "road of life" to Bakhmut

We are publishing a full video of the assault on Russian positions near the "road of life" to Bakhmut, carried out by fighters of the Third Separate Assault Brigade. The military called highway T0504, from Chasovoy Yar through Khromovo to Bakhmut, "the road of life". The last paved road, which can be used to deliver ammunition, provisions to the defenders of the fortress city, send reinforcements and evacuate wounded and dead soldiers.
In the course of a combat mission, the attack aircraft of the 3rd OShBr enter an enemy trench and, with the support of drones, carry out a sweep under enemy artillery fire, destroying the occupiers at a distance of several meters. The video footage shows the incredible courage and fortitude of Ukrainian soldiers. Competent actions of the commander, coordinated work of the group, desperation, courage, ingenuity and initiative of each of the fighters, and most importantly - high motivation to beat the enemy on Ukrainian soil.
As a result of the successful combat operation, 30 occupiers were eliminated. The 3rd OShBr pushed the Russians away from the "road of life", making it impossible to maintain the route under enemy fire control.
For courage and heroism, eight soldiers of the 3rd company of the 1st assault battalion of the 3rd OSHbr were awarded the badges of honor of the commander of the Ground Forces of Ukraine and presented for state awards.

We read the horror stories of WW1 trenches through text with the explanation of mud past their ankles seeping into boots holding their feet down as they try to move, but to actually see it on video makes it so much more real and puts it into context.
It also makes you realise that we really haven’t come very far as a species.
I suspected that might happen. The amount of modern equipment on both sides forces them to dig in as breakthroughs become impossible because both sides check each other. This war can go on for years without any result, and people there will die for failed politicians interests. Ukraine may win this war (you never know) but it will pay for it with thousands dead and a completely ruined country.

Ww1 was 100x more intense than this. Nevertheless this footage is a fantastic example of what soldiers are dealing with. I think alot of people watching now realize that war isn't like playing a game of call of duty. Its terrifying but you conquer your fear in order to survive and keep your comrades alive.

What we see here is basically what any random soldier would have seen in ww1 except all the weapons are on steroids and theres literal AI only bots circling above that can kill you
@jef clark yes however the artillery bombardment went on for days on the front lines of ww1 leading to thousands of men breaking under the pressure with shell-shock. Poison gas and machine guns littered all across the battlefield made charging across non man's land almost always suicide. The Ukraine war is bad but the scale and intensity is much smaller. I do agree that precision weapons are terrifying but your chances of coming back alive is still greater in this war than in 1914. Trust me I'm a military vet and historian, I've been watching hours and hours of Ukraine footage since this conflict started. War is terrible regardless but I'd rather be in Ukraine than ww1. If you disagree then it is what it is. But this footage is incredible and I hope non vets can comprehend how shitty war is now.

I wish the cameras didn't have to be blurred out when seeing dead body's. I get that the dead need to be respected, it's just that showing the graphic scenes would do a lot to place emphasis on the realty of War and show why it must be avoided at all costs. I think its very thoughtful of these soldiers to accept being filmed putting their lives on the line potentially sacrificing themselves for the war effort. People sitting from a place of safety and comfort need to watch this and appreciate their (yours) reality. I know I sure do, if I do say so myself. I think ending the War even if accepting the loss of the Donbass, Donetsk and Crimea etc is part of it. The people of those provinces will always find a way back to democracy if they want it. Even if they have to win their freedom through a riot, or resistance in the province its more ethical than waging a War for it in my opinion.

They don’t have thermal on the FPV drones.. thermal optics are heavy and expensive. They may use thermal optics on higher altitude observation drones or satellites.
Is there anything to counter grenade dropping drones? Any small device infantry can keep on them to have a dome like effect to scramble drone usage ?
There are anti-drone weapons that are used but they are expensive and don't work on fpv suicide drones that are the main problem right now

Could be different units or fireteams or maybe a specialist or medic of some kind. genuinely have no idea but there could very well be no differences
Yellow = infantry
Blue = stormtrooper

Когда проклятая россия напала на УКРАИНУ я помню в нашем городе у посольстве УКРАИНЫ было много машин, я не понял что происходит подошёл по ближе а там наши гуманитарку собирают у меня в кармане было 1000 тенге я в ближайшие аптеки купил бенты и отнес , в этот же день я пошёл таксовать и на следующей день я передал 20 пар насков теплых , на краю города на питачке грузили фуру , я видел там памперсы, медикаменты, подсолнечные мосла ,мука , одежда теплая , в общем было много чего , все несли всё что было , и даже там я ощущал на сколько огромная беда на УКРАИНЕ 😢
