  • Workout Details:
    - Place maximum tension into as many muscles as possible while applying force.
    - Let your muscles "ramp up" the force production for a few seconds instead of just jerking against the straps.
    - Breathe smoothly, especially on the lunge exercise
    - Keep the shoulders packed on all three exercises.

    I red a study, I don’t remember but I think it was Harvard, breaking it down stating that around 6 second holds for strength and 20 to 45 seconds for size. It looked like a pretty in depth study. Each hold was all out

    Another great, concise video on great, concise and highly effective workouts. BTW, my new ISO-Chain is the bomb. Humbling, but also effective!

    I would think this could be performed with less intensity in a manner similar to the research on post-meal walks and blood sugar control. Nice option instead of the walk during winter in the north and summer lightning storms here in FL. Or maybe post surgery for elderly person with lower body mobility issues could do 2 upper body movements while watching Wheel of Fortune.

    Great video! How many sets per exercise would you recommend, if it was done as a complete workout?

    Hey Matt, maybe you can do a vid on calves micro workout.

    • @RedDeltaProject
      @RedDeltaProject  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That one is simple,
      stand up on the balls of your feet and lower yourself back down so your heels "kiss" the floor but you don't put your weight on your heels.
      Do that for 60s whenever you like throughout the day

    Hey Matt would you say that is also important to screw the elbows inward when someone is doing isometric?

    • @RedDeltaProject
      @RedDeltaProject  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep! Driving tension inward is still important here too.

    Any feedback for WorldFit vs Iso-flow by Bullworker? I am looking at both of them.

    • @RedDeltaProject
      @RedDeltaProject  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Basically the comparison between the two is the the Iso-flo is more versatile, but can be a bit more cumbersome to use. The Worldfit is simpler to use but not as versatile.

      @@RedDeltaProject Add a smooth stainless steel mourning ring, a carabiner and a nice heavy cotton belt or a gun belt and you can do about 95% of want the ISO FLO can do. You can't do the bicycle movement.

    Should you hold longer than 10-15 seconds if hypertrophy is your goal?

    • @RedDeltaProject
      @RedDeltaProject  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It's not necessary. You recover so much faster from isometrics than dynamics.
