When you record on your iPhone, just hold and press down the middle of the screen when you’re recording so it can go on AE lock and it won’t be going out of focus or changing the brightness every time you move :)
if your piercings got infected that quickly and so soon after getting them done, it’s likely the infection was caused by the person who did the piercing. they must have not used properly sterilised equipment. Like mine hurt like heeellll bc of the piercing gun and I thought that was the only way for a cartilage piercing but I guess the better way is just the needle itself, so it could have been the irritation of the piercing gun (if that’s what was used on her).

But once it started to grow out and I felt more comfortable in my skin I honestly love my self image and who I am as a person more now than I did with long hair. I learned that ones beauty does not derive from how long your hair is. If you or anyone want to cut their hair off don’t be afraid of what people will think or how you might think you’ll see yourself! Live in the moment and love who you are❤️
Don’t get a pixie cut I feel like you will regret it, if u have the money I suggest u get a wig, wither it’s a wig of a pixie cut or u get a pixie cut and buy a wig of long hair, but make sure it’s a high quality wig

I'm a bit of a poster child for underaged piercings and can say you don't need to go to the doctor if your piercing gets infected and you catch it early on. Just keep cleaning it with warm salt water and anti-bacterial soap, then sprits it with a little bactine. However, if it gets really bad (just as you described: red and swollen wth pus oozing), then you should definitely go to the doctor. Just a little tip in case you wanted to get double helix piercings again. Also, I have an industrail, and that got infected easily. Your ear comes in contact with a lot of stuff and piercings get infected if they get bumped around a lot. It takes a while to get used to.

If your doctor gives you antibiotics you MUST take them until the course is finished. You’ll cause bacterial resistance and make yourself more prone to worse infections.

Both my room and cartilage piercings got infected and it was sooooo bad. My ears were huge but I changed the jewelry and it helped and then it took 7 months for the infection to go away so yeah lolsies tmi teehee
Same. I got my cartilage pierced and it got infected, there was a gross bump and I had to remove it :( I want to get my nose pierced but I don’t think I could take it. It sucks.

girl cut your hair, i’m just like you, i like to change my “look” a lot but when i got a pixie cut about a year ago and i swear it was the most liberating feeling ever it was gr8, and the growing out process is a pain in the ass at first, because you get a mullet and you just look nasty *but* if you keep the back trimmed and figure out ways you to style it it’s not as painful, and then it eventually starts to not look as bad. my hair now is at like shoulder length and it’s soo healthy after i cut it, i don’t regret it :)) hope this helped :)

I have a double helix as well and when i got it it was like so fucking painful omg but the reason why that happened to your ear was cause of the jewelry. The same thing happens to my ears any time i use jewelry that isnt stainless steel. If it is nickel or fake gold etc your ear will blow up so bad. If i put a nickel earring into any of my piercing my ear will swell and just nasty as hell!!!

I worked my butt off the entire year and made below average grades and actually cried and literally just gave up on it altogether for my own mental health and then my school told us that we weren’t even getting the college credit for it and I actually cried and dropped out of apush 2
try titanium earrings. i’m allergic to every type or earring except titanium and i had to get my cartilage done with titanium and it’s never been infected and i have had it since last year

noon you shoulda just put hydrogen peroxide and Neosporin on your ear, it takes about a week but it fixes the infection.
