During the first segment I was thinking 'man, it'd be great to see a giant (bobble)head Tim Baltz' and you actually made one, you amazing madman you! :'3 Thanks so much for all your work!
Thanks, there was a lot of visual imagary being painted in that segment, a few other bobbleheads I could've made, but I honestly had no idea who he was talking about with most of them and even though that happens to me a LOT with CBB, requiring much research (e.g. I'd never HEARD of Mr Microphone till I heard CBB, now I've got a half hour video about it!), sometimes you have to move onto the next segment, but I was happy with my Baltz bobblehead (and the Dick Clark, actually an old Dick Clark doll I altered), so thanks for mentioning it.
@@BabyFaceBren Yeah, I wanted to ask - it crossed my mind during Omaha steaks, is it difficult, or maybe fun, to track down the very American references? And by the way, as you'll know, plenty of them aren't references your average American would know, either, ha. But most hit that sort of "oh yeah, that thing...." spot.
@@ImmigrantSound yeah it is fun, at least interesting. Post mates was one I looked up recently though I didn’t use a pic or anything. Also sugar fish (both in the Shaun D/NPH ep) though one of my Patreon patrons said she hadn’t heard of the fish, so it must just be an LA thing. One bit of research I sometimes have to use, if I am writing song lyrics or putting a title on screen, is whether the phrase I’m using is only common to Australia, which would be useless for mostly US viewers! I have known a lot of stuff about the USA since I was a kid, thanks to loving movies and always glued to the TV (just an Aussie expression?) Every sitcom had a Halloween episode (we didn’t celebrate that till about 5 years ago when retailers realised it was a wasted opportunity). The Bradys taught me about George Washington and the Cherry Tree and Paul Revere’s Ride. I found it all pretty exciting and for a while there wished I was an American!
@@BabyFaceBren I hear that! And in many ways folks who are inundated with US culture know more about certain weird pockets than locals might. I myself am in between, somewhat, being American, but having not lived in the states until college age, a third culture kid, as we say. Though I can tell you right now that Sugar Fish is a very chic, pricey, and specific-type-drawing restaurant in LA. So yes. It's LA, but it's widely known enough that I knew the joke. It's THAT place: everyone wants to go, very cool, very trim, expensive, etc. I wrote because I thought it was funny and charming to imagine (poor) you watching footage of Chris Matthews to see, for example, just how good James Adomian is at that - and what the joke is! Again, plenty of listeners won't know, if they didn't/don't tune in, but still. Impressive, though. I'm enough of an Anglophile to get the references on QI and 8 out of 10 Cats, but Aussie things baffle me. I can still enjoy, but I miss the jabs about particular politicians, regions. Learned what a Bogan was, for example, about 5 years back, working with some lovely Aussies.
@@ImmigrantSound ha ha I didn’t bother watching Chris Matthews. I could tell what he was and I knew I wouldn’t like him. The bogans are creating a lot of problems here atm. Yeah it’s awesome. So is his Ice-T. He hasn’t done either voice in years. I understand them getting sick of doing the same characters but it’d be nice if they’d bring them back just occasionally
Just brilliant. Couldn't say thanks for your work enough. Also - contains Scott's all-time best joke, and he knows it in the moment. It's like thunder. :)

Boy there have been some ungrateful folks on my channel in the past few days. That one hates Ben Schwartz, this one hates Rudi North. I sometimes wonder why I bother.
@@BabyFaceBren I love what you do, but every time I hear Rudi North come on I just skip past it. I don't hate the guy, I just don't find him very funny. Ben Schwartz is a angel from heaven though.
@@cm1825 To each his own. Rudi's story IS all over the place, but I think that's part of the joke. They will often comment on it, like revealing he is immortal at the end of one segment when there is no time to discuss it. The only thing that turns me off is monotony. That's why I'm over Ben and Scott now, they always do the same thing (and it's rarely funny, to me). The only character who causes me to AVOID an episode is Nick Wiger's Leo Karpatze. Every year the same joke. I understand that WAS the joke, but after a while you start to ask yourself "is there anything ELSE?" Having said that though, i did get a lot of enjoyment out of his appearance in my CBB Christmas with the accompanying video taken by engineer Sam, with our CBB faves all having a great time. THAT may have changed my opinion of Leo. I'll see how I feel next time he's on!

The extra miles of effort you put into editing the visuals in these is appreciated as always.
Thanks for saying so!
It's such a small thing, but adding the sfx of a dial tone every time they say it gets me every single time.
Thanks for that, glad it worked!
That John C. Reilly impression is uncanny. PFT needs to do it again!

So un-rageified it is astounding. Thanks homie.

you can gauge how white a person is on the spectrum (from Danny Tanner to Eminem) by how excited they get when they hear a simple rhyme scheme

thanks.

Why bother? I'm actually a bobblehead.
That song, “Dollar”, was fucking terrible lol. Wtf CBB. Why did you allow that shit to be played during a show
