They shared that he clearly players better with the ball in his hands. This week the GM Will Dawkins was interviewed on Run It Back and was asked about Poole. He said he was excited about Poole, that he has been a good leader on the team and would continue to do so and that he is one of the guys they are moving forward with.

If you are going to put Collier in an off ball role you should just keep Josh. Collier is smaller, a worse shooter, a worse rebounder, and worse passer. He is better at handling contact around the rim. He has a better handle, but he is immature decision maker. His defensive ability is better than Josh’s, but he has the same attention lapses which mitigates the ability difference. If you think Josh is a bad fit for OKC, wait until you see Collier!

I am kind of interesting in DeSilva for OKC. It depends on how they view Ous for next year. Thunder have a lot of chances in the future to go for the wildcard athlete. DeSilva could come in and play right away, and he measured over 6.8 without shoes at the combine. If you believe Ous is ready to play, then I don't pick DeSilva because I think they can be very similar as players In this draft as it falls i would take Tidjane. Well unless it turns out he is only 6'5" or something like that :)

I don't see Sheppard as the long term starting PG for the Rockets. That is Amen Thompson. Also, I think Udoka is more inclined to athletic players with a positional advantage that can defend different positions, and I don't see that's the case for Sheppard. Actually, I don't see any player at #3 that is a better prospect than the core-6 that the Rockets already have. For any Rockets pick at #3, little to no minutes per game are expected this season. I'd just draft the best long term prospect available with the 3rd pick to develop as a project. For me, that's Clingan. In the ideal long term scenario, the front office could make it work financially and move forward with a core-7. It's not unreasonable to think so; maybe 1-2 players will have max contracts, and the others could fit below the 2nd apron. Amen Thompson, Jalen Green, Tari Eason, Jabari Smith Jr, Alperen Sengun, with Cam Whitmore and Donovan Clingan coming off the bench.
