@49KeyzBeats I wanted a change of pace for my children. I regret not buying property in NW when I had the opportunity. I had the tip to invest and I didn’t. It’s still a beautiful place just different now.
If you want to show an area that has major changes, do 'Parkside, Mayfair, Paradise'. It has changed drastically from the OUTSIDE appearance. New townhomes, apartments, daycare, senior/assisted living facility, Middle School, health clinic, small park, and bike trail, bike lane, and bus stops. The area use to be a wooded area. All the wildlife have been displaced, our homes are their homes too!
It looks GOOD from the OUTSIDE, BUT, the INSIDE, is another story! #Shoddy workmanship, #Faulty appliances, #Contaminated building material, #Faulty #Electrical work, #Poor plumbing, #Poor #HVAC Installation, and #PoorIndoorAQ! The neighborhood is riddled with CRIME that don't get publicized! It's an overall big MASQUERADE!
Man my high school ( Phelps career vocational high school) is in South East side of Washington DC of Benning Road, man but I see a lot has changed in those areas of my teenage years.
At 22:02 when you stopped at the light I use to on the street straight ahead of you. Boones Hill rd. We use to so much around there. Damn been over 30 something years.
Narration would have been good . . . the historical Atlas Theatre, Hechinger Mall, Spingarn High School, Langston Terrace, Rosedale, RFK Stadium, etc. Lived in that are 20+ years.
