完美的句子!Perfect sentence and you can also say--我跟我的女儿”是“不会吵架的。 Because 是~~的 is an emphasize structure Remember in my another video?--你是不会懂的 nǐ shì bú huì dǒng de=You can't understand. 是~~的 But your sentence is OK because omit that”是“is acceptable in spoken Chinese~加油
都一样,我跟我爸妈,能好好相处的时间,就一周。 i was a bit confused on the english translation of this sentence.. so i try to figure out how to translate it in spoken english language... you can say "It's the same. My parents and I could only get along for a week" what ya think?
Thank you for your comment.Sometimes you know between two languages, when we translate,we need to change the translation to be more natural in that language. I think your translation is pretty good. 好好相处 here “好好” means well/nicely/seriously. So she is saying "to get along well each other" means to stay together happily~You‘ve already caught the key point of sentence. Great job for writing down the sentence in Chinese 加油
Your translation is WAY too truncated. It makes sense if you are learning English, but definitely not if you are learning Mandarin. Yes, if you translate word-for-word, the woman is saying, "It's the same," but Cana laoshi is trying to tell us that what she's actually communicating is that "it's the same for everyone." That last part was omitted because it is conversational Mandarin and not textbook Mandarin. As students, we learn the textbook version first before we attempt the vernacular. And as for the line about being able to get along for a week, all of us Chinese students would miss out on the proper use of 时间 in the construction of this sentence. Just trust Cana Laoshi for heaven's sake. She knows what she's doing.
